Has anyone seen this movie? I just finished watching it on television. It stars Thora Birch and (a younger) Keira Knightly. The movie was interesting. It was nothing special.

Well, anyway, I went to IMDb afterwards to learn some BTS stuff on the film. And, I think the production of this film is much more interesting.

Keira Knightly was 15 when she filmed this movie. And, she has two nude scenes. She also has a scene with a naked man. Yes, he was ACTUALLY naked since he shows his ding-dong in the movie and in one wide shot both Keira and the naked dude are in the frame. And, finally a sex scene. Crazy huh?

It sucked, and not even the brief flash of Knightly's better half was enough to make it worthwhile, even for a perv like me.

It does not stand up to repeat viewing but the first time I watched it I really enjoyed it ... very tense.

Made me think how I would react to being trapped without hope of rescue.

I was not aware of Keira being that young during filming ... if its true is that not illegal?

I'm not gonna say it sucked. It was a bad movie...sure! But, it was kinda interesting.

And I knew Knightley was young in it....BUT THAT YOUNG?! Wow. To be fair she has always looked older (I thought she was more than 18 in Pirates 1 for example).

Her acting has come QUITE the long way though between that movie and Pride & Prejudice. I think, anyway.

Honestly, I don't care. But its weird that they would cast a 15 year old to flash her breasts. Especially since they had the big boobs of Thora Birch to put into good use.

LOL ... well ... As I'm from Plymouth Devon .... which is in the UK I think its a valid question.

Rather than just giving me "It wasn't an issue" ... tell me WHY its not an issue to have an under age girl naked in a movie?

You might imagine so, but it's not. Nudity is not illegal in a motion picture at any age. I also find it dubious that a 15-year old is used for (literally) titilation, but it passed the censors.

If anything should be illegal though, it's Calendar Girls. I thought that was a horror movie when I heard about it.
