Why do some posters feel the need to be asshats for no good God Damned reason? I swear... You can have a conversation and present your side without being an ass hat but it's apparently too much to ask. People simply MUST be snarky on the Internet with no cause for some reason.

If we are talking about the same person, it's a bit of a shame. He's obviously a passionate and knowledgeable fan of a lot of the same stuff I am... But Jesus Christ, he freaking rubber bands in attitude so much it's like he has a spit personality. He can be funny, but too often he acts like a capricious child and argues just for the sake of it. I ain't got time for that jibber jabber.

Unfortunately he can't seem to have a discussion without resorting to sneering, smug, thinly veiled insults when someone has a viewpoint that is different from his own. Basically he's one of those unfortunates who are never wrong within their own minds. Which is a damn shame, because I've seen some really well thought out and passionate posts from him that at times I want to applaud. But then the attitude comes out and it's just a buzz kill. Spoils good conversation.
