The new design is too sculpted, as some others have said, too idealistic. Ang Lee's design, to me is more realistic(yeah I know realism in a comic blah blah blah) but to me that version is closer to what an actual person would look like if their mass increased in that way, more realistically proportioned.

This Hulk has access to the best thermogenics. Very low bodyfat. He has to look good for his close-ups.

A quick question to the Guys' who are saying the CGI is 'work in progress' - It seems a bit general, has there been any specifics over what parts of the CGI is unfinished? ie. skin textures, shadows, anatomy, animation etc.

I agree, I just wish I could bring up all those old threads where people were swearing he should be ripped like that. To me, the Hulk isn't working out for his muscles, he's not doing sit-ups, and while it's a nice visual for comic books and even movies, it looks more tangible for him to be a bulky monster, which he is. Once again I point to the great Sal Buscema, who drew the Hulk strong, without looking like a bodybuilder. I always had that question about Superman also, where's all the muscle coming from, he's not an athlete, he's an alien who happens to be strong on Earth. Part of the reason I loved Christopher Reeve was his physique, he was heroic and big, but not a bodybuilder. If anybody's in shape, it should be the Batman's and Daredevils of the world, guys who need to work for their strength. One of the reasons Alex Ross art is so vivid is because his models are big, but not perfectly ripped .2% bodyfat beings, just real people who are in shape

When I think of the Hulk the first thing that comes to my mind is a really ripped & muscular uber human. I really prefer designs of the Hulk where he's muscular because he's supposed to be this big strong force. The new movie's design is perfect as he's perfectly ripped while Ang Lee's Hulk seemed to be a bit chubby.

I never really paid attention to it in the first movie, but I totally agree. Hulk was a bit chubby, while this Hulk is much slimmer and way more ripped. I think he looks perfect. :)

chubby?.... dear f**king god, now he's chubby, next you guys will be calling him fat

i still dont get the chubby stuff, he just wasnt overly ripped as the new Hulk. Ripped doesnt equal strength anyway.

Well, that's true too. I just didn't like how he changed height when he got madder. I'm glad Hulk will stay at 9 feet tall vs like 25 feet tall or whatever he was in the Ang Lee movie.

15ft actually, and Abom seems to be the same height in this one. I agree that Hulk changing hs height was a bit stupid but that still didnt make him look chubby IMO, he just wasnt ripped like a bodybuilder.

The only problem I had with the Hulk growing in size was that he got too tall & they should've stopped at around 12 or 13 ft, not 15. The main reason I had no problem with the Hulk growing is because he has done it in the comics before.

No, you don't even have a clue what you're talking about. Just because you can see abs doesn't mean you are healthy. My friends can see their abs but they eat a lot of junk food, so it doesn't mean they are too healthy. I eat it too sometimes & I can sort of see my abs, doesn't mean I'm healthy. Seriously, you have no clue what you're talking about.

Hulk doesnt grow in the comics, he's never actually gotten angry, changed his shape/height and gotten stronger. Different artists have drawn him in different heights but Marvel never actually came out and said "yeah, in this issue, he's 12ft tall". In Ang's defense, he only grows to 15. He stops after that, its like, at the end of the movie, Hulk's a full grown man. But he never made that clear and you have a$$holes going around saying s**t like "OMG! He could be the size of King Kong, lolz!". If you have a issue where he does grow, i'd love to see that. Really, not being an ass but i would like to know where Ang got that idea from.

dont bodybuilders says that they are the weakest when they are ripped the most?.. like during one of those contests? i remember someone here said tht along time ago.

I'm not sure, from what I know lifting weights is supposed to tear muscle fibers & replace them with stronger ones which is how you get stronger. Most bodybuilders use steroids anyway so that's where their "strength" lies.

He didn't grow too much bigger, just from around seven feet to about nine feet or so & the comic was written by Stan Lee. I read it about three years ago or so & that's when I was younger so I didn't think enough to post it on here. The worst part is I got the book from the library which I don't go to anymore. If I find the images, I will definitely post them because I want to show that Ang at least had some type of inspiration from the comics.

two things.

-i am talking about body fat and definition.
-you are talking about food and body health.

again we are not on the same page. so again. i dotn care what someone eats. read very carefully my post. if a human has visible ABS that means that he has low body fat. a fat guy doesnt have visible ABS. some people have good genetics and can eat junk food and go into the gym and still have a good body.

Just because abs are visible doesn't mean your bodyfat is super low or that you are healthy. Bodyfat is connected to health, smart guy. Besides that, everyone has abs, some people can see them while others are covered with a layer of fat. Btw, eating junk food & going to the gym isn't going to do much for you unless you at least lay off eating it for a while like I'm doing.

-superlow body fat.........i didnt said that.
-bodyfat is connected to health. i never talked about health.
-everyone has abs? no really? i said visible abs.
-i didnt mean only eat junk food the whole day.

this ends here because you dotn want to understand me.

There's nothing to understand, you have no idea what you're talking about. When you talk about bodyfat, you're talking about health. I'm just correcting you, it's okay to be wrong sometimes.
