I like the size of his head, makes him look even stronger. Comparing to the old Hulk I'll say I like the face, muscle tone, shade of green and hair better on the new hulk. What I don't really like is the chin, looks way too pointy though it is likely based on Norton's chin and the lips, he really does look like he's wearing lipstick.
his mouth is semi-open in that shot if ur talking about the new shot.
on the old shot sorta looks like lipstick

they're still too dark, even with his mouth partially open you should still see the lip, what we see here is blackness. Therefore, either he has really dark lips or no lips at all, both not very appealing imo.

I think ang's hulk looked great during the day but most of the time looked not to well at night, now having seen this trailer, and knowing that the effects aren't done, I think the hulk will look great in this one.

i just finished watching the dog fight, the bit you said, with him on the tree, were you talking about when he screams at the dog or when they are all falling down?... the bit when he screams, he releases some kinda green air when he's fully pissed. Dont know what that means.

It is Hulk burping.

It's called the "Gamma Burp", Ang Lee said that Hulk should act like a real human and Banner had eaten before Talbot attacked him, so when he became Hulk and Hulk roared, he let out a big dirty burp!

Ang Lee's Hulk was very real looking, and I hope that this new Hulk can at least meet or even surpass that level of quality.

What's the topic of this Thread again? Cause I would think that the polls would reflect the topic right?...

I'm going to go out on a limb & just say that it's too early to actually be asking this question. We only got a few seconds worth of footage with the actual Hulk being in them so that's not much to go by. We need to see the entire movie before we can say which is better. Hopefully LL's CGI is better as I want this movie to surpass Ang Lee's Hulk in every way because the one thing that was best about the 2003 Hulk movie was the fact that the CGI was so real that it made you forget that the Hulk was fictional & made on a computer. If this movie can give me that same feeling, I will forever praise LL & Marvel.

I didn't say expressing your opinion is pointless. I said arguing repeatedly over each others' opinions is pointless. Especially when it comes to something subjective like taste. The example you just posted is something you would expect in a conversation between children. I've definitely never heard anything like that in an adult conversation.

As far as the 2003 Hulk goes, I will say that he looked incredibly realistic & the CGI made me feel as if the Hulk were actually real. I didn't like how his facial features constantly changed & how on some parts he looked chubby & not bulky but for the most part he looked pretty great. The major thing about this Hulk was that he looked too human. Now, as far as the 2008 Hulk is concerned, right now the only bad thing about this version is that it isn't completely finished. Other than that, everything is perfect. He's ripped, he's not too tall, he looks like an actual monster, etc. I look forward to this Hulk & if the CGI can match or surpass the CGI from 2003's Hulk movie, I'll be very happy.

It's difficult to understand the claims that this new Hulk looks in any way "less human" than the 2003 version, especially in the context of that comparison shot a few posts above this one. It's likely simply trying to see something that isn't there. Their both big green guys with a basic human shape and features. Their physiques and proportions are a bit different, and their faces aren't exactly alike, but the differences are fairly negligible in regards to this argument.

Now, one difference that does stand out - though moreso in motion - and actually makes 2008 Hulk seem much more "human" than his 2003 counterpart, is the deliberateness of their actions and their facial expressions. 2003 Hulk was, for the most part, all reaction, no action. A feral beast with no real plan. The new Hulk is very much under control, very much the hero (essentally what Norton's Banner had planned on, according to the trailer) - he transforms, collects himself, engages in the obligatory good-guy/bad-guy stare down, flexes a bit so we know he's tough, and then he and Abomination start jogging towards one another, presumably to beat each other up or hug or something.

Its always the same. Every time something new comes along it wins all the polls. Just go in the TDK boards and make a poll comparing Heath Ledger & Jack Nicholson as the Joker and Ledger would dominate. Despite the fact the movie isn't out yet.

This poll is stupid because it is far too early to compare the two.

The difference is that thread isn't full of people insulting each other over and over about their differing opinions. I see reading comprehension isn't one of your strong points.

I have to see the whole movie first but so far the trailer showed me nothing that I haven't seen in many other movies with CGI characters.

And it seems to be a confusion about CGI and design.

I totally agree that Norton's Hulk design looks cooler than Ang Lee's Hulk design. But the actual CGI with the character moving doesn't make me incline myself towards Norton's Hulk so far.

How has this not been closed?
First trailer with confirmed unfinished CGI vs a complete movie?!

I heard Abom is taller than the Hulk in his normal standing and crouching position so if he stood erect I'd imagine 10-12 ft.

I have to concur with you. This is a stupid topic so early in the game before all the CGI has been completed and correctly animated to allow for real world lighting.
