The CGI from the Hulk vs. Abomb clip is actually incredible, nearly flawless. That's something I can't wait to see on the big screen. But then there's the other clip with Hulk fighting Blonksy in the field looks all wrong, and there are a bunch of other shoddy shots from the trailers. I don't get it.

Well, my guess is, since we see it improving all of the time. (Though hey it may not.) That they are working with an importance on the final scene, with other action scenes coming after.

Two reasons for this, it's arguably the biggest action scene in the movie, and people tend to remember what they saw last the most vividly.

But why release a full clip of the Hulk vs. Blonsky fight if it wasn't finished? It obviously was. It's a shame that it didn't turn out so well.

turned out well enough for us hulk fans, not so much for you bat folks.

Um... for the same reason they released two theatrical trailers that weren't finished? They need to release something or else they are just slamming nails into their coffin.

Because, they will probably be working on this project up until it's release. My guess is, they are not done.

If they are, eh, I think it looks fantastic, but judging from how different it looks compared to the Abomination fight...? I will hold out until I see the finished product. I said the "obviously was" thing around the theatrical trailers and man oh my they proved me wrong. (With the TV spots.)

Do we really need to stir up this crud again? Maybe people aren't impressed because it's not impressive to them (which shouldn't change what you feel), and not because they like Batman. Let's just leave that there.

Guano, you clean it up they just end up dropping more off later.

I disagree with you completely. When releasing a trailer, it's common to have unfinished shots mainly because the trailer itself is made uo of only snippets of scenes from the movie that shouldn't be too revealing. However, by releasing an exclusive clip fronm the film, they're saying, "Here. This is a completed scene from our movie. This is a taste of what it's going to be like. Enjoy."

Maybe there are other things in the film that are possibly unfinished at this point, but if they are confident enough to drop several revealing sequences from the film, I'm willing to bet my mortgage that these various scene are completed, which is a shame because as you said, the Hulk vs. Blonsky clip does look so different and, frankly, subpar when compared to the Abomb fight clip.

dude slow your roll, dude we get what we get finished or not, just be happy with that

I didn't realize that in order to be a Hulk fan, you had to sit back and be happy with anything that comes our way with no complaints.

Seriously, "dude", I'm not saying anything bad or hurting anyone's feelings. This is the CGI thread. I'm discussing the CGI. You're logic makes no sense.

Hulkfan, dont bother.

life lesson below :

no ones appreciative for what they have, i mean if you got tube socks for christmas you may not like the gift but at least be thankful you got one right? at least be happy we get to see clips of the movie that people spend thier time making for us they didnt have to show us any thing but they did.

Yes it IS common, but it is not common to the extent that these trailers were. People went from "videogame" comments to "Wow!" on the same shot. They improved DRAMATICALLY which is rarely EVER seen.

And no, by releasing a clip in this case they are saying "Here, take some free advertising! We have relatively none at this point because Universal and Marvel refuse to promote our film! See how action packed it is?"

And I do not think it looks very different, I think the skin on Hulk looks different. Which was improved from trailers, to TV spots, and since they most likely will be working on it up until the last minute all you can do in your case is hope they fix it as well.

Notice that many of the best shots are close-ups, meaning they are completing what they find most important first. (I.E. When Hulk looks through his shields at Blonsky.)

Now am I saying you are wrong? No, because I very well thought the look of the film would improve from the trailers, but never as dramatically as it did. Who knows what is going on over there, we could walk into this movie and these scenes may look the exact same, or not. Only time will tell.

Fair enough. It's all speculation at this point, anyway.

Your are allowed to say something negative, but expect backlash from others. I disapproved so many things in Spidey, Transformers, BB (and so far TDK) but if I go in and talk to those fans, I'll get the exact same treatment you are.

Tis the nature of the message board.

Seriously, I dont understand why after all these updated fx shots, why some of these "discussions" continue. Especially from people who seem to be regurgitating all these negative descriptions like unfinished, sub-par, ect. to keep up the impression that the movie will disappoint Hulk fan's. Be a little hard to swallow if it wasn't coming from Guano.

Because FX shots are like art, and will always be debated. I still think Gollum, and Transformers are no where near as impressive as others say. But I realize that people go ga-ga over them and let them enjoy what they want. (Regardless if they will stand for me thinking it is over-rated.)

But this is about more than pointing out spots where the FX are falling short to some people, it comes off more so than not as attempting to spoil the positivity.

I guess, but what was I even saying that was bad? I complimented one clip, and expressed my dismay towards another, and then you and I have a brief discussion as to whether the clips were finished or not.

What a tragedy! Here comes Nivek with his "guano" spam comments! Hulkfan2008 disregards everything I say because I have a Batman avatar, and because of that, my comments don't make sense to him! Look at me! I'm a Batman troll!

The whole thing's just getting a little old, in my opinion. I realize it's this weird message board mentality, but I have nothing against the Hulk. I'm not rooting for the movie to fail, but it has a lot to prove to me as a fan, just like Batman Begins, Iron Man, and Spider-man each had to do. I apologize to certain Hulk fans around here that I have expectations, desires, and criticisms for this film. However, I commend you, FrostBite, for not writing off each negative comment that comes your way as "Guano trolling".

But this is about more than pointing out spots where the FX are falling short to some people, it comes off more so than not as attempting to spoil the positivity.

Since when must there be a positive euphoria that constantly follows this film? Will a few qualms and criticisms disrupt the postive energy and ruin your movie-viewing experience? I don't understand how you frequent an internet forum devoted to follwing and discussing superhero films if you can't take negative opinions.

But this is about more than pointing out spots where the FX are falling short to some people, it comes off more so than not as attempting to spoil the positivity.

Indeed, I've fallen pray to the "Man I am super hyped" -someone says a negative comment- "Hype.... di....s...appearing!!!! GAHH!!" Syndrome.

But what people have to realize is that not everyone with a negative comment is here to spoil others fun, it merely comes off that way (especially to us Hulk fans) as negativity really stands out, and us Hulk fans have been hearing trash talk against this movie since it was announced with no info in sight.
