It looks like something I would have expected from ILM, back in 1999. Hopefully it isn't finished, because shots like that would actually distract me from the film - in a bad way.

Makes me nostalgic for Ang and crew. :( But, then, most of this production does.

Sorry to hear that. Though, I guess I can resonate. Some of the shots in 03 did take me out for moments. (The gamma burp roar before the dog fight, and the gigantic goofy face on the plane.)

So far nothing has taken me out in this film. But then again... I've only seen clips and I am not theater seat, so you never know.

Again if you want to see a film where the CGI will really take you out (and of course was done by ILM, er... at least I'd wager it is) see Indy IV. You'll get a tooootal feeling of "why... why god, why is it so ugly?"

When was Hulk on a plane? I don't remember that.
When he jumped ontop of the jet to keep it from crashing into The Golden Gate Bridge.

Then the jet soars up into the earth's atmosphere to knock The Hulk out from the little oxygen there.

Er... Jet actually my bad, when he jumps off the bridge to save the pilot and the people on the bridge, then the pilot takes him up and tries to knock him unconscious? When he bangs his head against the cock pit, I gag at how weird it looks, which is what I am guessing you feel now.

Oh, I remember that now. I actually haven't seen the film in a while.

You hit the nail on the head there.

:hehe::hehe::hehe:

um yeah.

lets have this convo around the middle of july shall we?

deal?

^Me either. Then again I "hated" the first one.

Note: According to the BB fans giving the movie anything less than a 10 out of 10 is hating the movie. I gave it an 8 out of 10 BTW.

8 out of 10 seems about right. I have no doubt it will be a great film, but nothing really excites me, nothing blows my freaking mind at this point. Maybe once I see the film that will change. It seems very by the book and when people claim oscars for Ledger based off a trailer I could cry myself from laughter.

It's not as if it seems as though he gives a bad performance, but it'd be like me crying out that because Edward Norton gave a cool smirk and I see the glowing eyes, he is Oscar material.

I give it a 7 out of 100

good movie, but not good enough that it will make you wanna put it in your DVD for repetitive viewings...

Hulk On A Plane would be a great sequel to the first one.

Well, I have, and while I enjoy it each time it's not something that I'd watch over, and over, and over. There some films I could pop in at any time, where as BB I have to be in the mood for.

The only movie I watch repeatly is RoboCop. Hell, I love the first two Spidey movies but don't watch them that often at all. I must tell you that it's amazing I watch Robocop as much as I do because I've probably seen in over 100 times.

Honestly I don't know WHAT movie I could watch 100 times. Actually ...er, it may be a kids movie, but I was a kid when it came out darn it, I think I've watched Aladdin quite a bit more than most movies. Have the darn thing memorized.

Most of my RoboCop and T2 watching were as a kid but I would never do that now, I have too many other things to watch.

You know we've kinda turned this forum into a chat.:o lol

Lol, indeed we have, but thats okay, I tend to do that with most forums after all it's kind of what they are for.

Guess thats why I put up the AIM and Yahoo on here under my sn incase it ever gets too out of hand. :oldrazz:

lol I imagine people coming into this thread and saying "what the hell?" It's the FrostBite and I SEE SPIDEY show!

Comparing the different clips that have been released just recently, all I can say is I hope they're not the finished product. Based on those clips the CG is inconsistent at best. The Hulk Vs. Abomination clip is nearly flawless most of the time, while the daylight stuff seems... well... it doesn't look very good at all to me.
Not that it needs to matters in the end, as long as everything else works well enough I can easily give the film a pass on the CGI.

2 against one we win, simple odds, its science.:yay:

People in my country (er.. well if you are in the U.S. our country) voted for someone who screwed us over twice, indeed the majority is always right. :oldrazz:

The CGI is great in the new clip. Watch it in 1080p HD and it is great. Hulk fits in with the environmetn and lighting. And watch it when he roars you will see the CGI has improved from the trailers. He now has better skin, better details and you can see inside of his mouth.

I agree with the lighting and the detail, but I think his skin still looks like tree bark. but then again body builders that take a lot of roids and hormones have really rough skin too, so I guess if hulk were real he would probably look like that. So I just negated my own point.
On a side note, while I'm not a fan of CGI, i doubt Hulk would work well without it. At least not in the current movie going environment.

I'm not quite sure I agree on this. It's clearly an improvement, but I'm just not convinced, even with the HD versions. My brain keeps telling me something is off (and since it didn't during most of the Abomb Vs. Hulk clip, it can't be that my brain just can't accept a live action Hulk).

If you are talking mostly about the screaming moment... I think it's the angle / lighting combination. When he jumps out, his muscles tense... and most specifically the transformation I think look fantastic, but as you say... the screaming scene looks off. Better, but off.

It has to be the angle / lighting for me, as I had no problem with the day time scene after it (the clips from MTV and IGN.)

I stand by my theory that they worked from the end of the film back to make the Hulk look the best he could for the whole 15 minute brawl, putting most of their resources into that big final battle.
