I personally think no one has seen the finished product and they're saving it for the actual movie and aren't going to release 100% finished cgi in any clips/trailers/tv spots.

Lol.. that's true. I just wish that some people would stop giving the CGI final judgement. I mean, look at the huge improvement in this shot.. and who's to say it hasn't gotten twice this good since the time this clip was put together?

Just to clarify, the first one is the updated shot, right? That one looks better imo.

Despite the myth, I whole heartedly believe that what killed Ang Lee's Hulk movie was an awful story, lame ass unfeeling characters and the failed experimental comicbook panels crap.

In one word: perfect. :cwink:

It looks like they've tweaked the lighting of the shot. I have to say that Rhythm & Hues, with alot more of a workload to improve their CGI rendering skills could even rival ILM in the future as a top FX company. Of course it does seem like ILm is starting to slip in quality though. In Indy 4 the Prairie Dogs, monkeys and ants looked really fake. Was it so hard for them to use real creatures and just replicate them then use CGI minimally for them? But I digress. Please keep up the good work R&H, and by all means Marvel utilize this company alot more for future movies.

I agree: huge improvement. Great comparison, BTW.

These are just two separate frames from the same scene. The second one is red because of the emergency vehicle lights flashing every other frame. Also notice the different positions of the face and pieces of car in his hand relative to his body. Watch the clip frame-by-fame to see. That being said, I think this is one of the most flawless and amazing CGI scenes so far.

No, the bottom one is the shot from the 2nd trailer, and the top one is the improved version in the Hulk vs Abo clip. I just took it a few frames back, so the red light wasn't blinking.

I stand corrected. Can you take the exact same frame from both clips and put them side-by-side? It would make the improvements that much more evident I think.

All good shots. But IMO, the one with Betty looks horrible. He looks like a giant action figure.

To me it's just his face. Even calm, he shouldn't look that gentle.

He almost has a handsome appearance or something right there.

No he doesn't,what makes you say that? He doesn't look like an action figure one bit. He looks real in it.

Considering that Betty has a calming effect on the Hulk, it's relevant that he'd not be so savage.

I have to agree with you. I'm taking it this image is from the very end after Hulk has been torn up by Abomination. Those are huge wounds all over him. That battle is going to be so great!!!

Of course, the textures look better than that of an actual action figure, but still far from real looking. But the body detail, the face, it just looks bad compared to all the other shots.

I agree, it's just the face that's off, everything else is fine, his face looks like a who from the grinch.

Like I said, Betty's trying to calm him down in that image. Hulk wouldn't be all angry in front of her at this point.

Calm I can understand but his cheeks look really puffy, which doesn't work from the side with the small nose.

Where did that pix come from with Betty standing in front of the Hulk. I've never seen it. And what scars?

Hulk looks like he is a human who is simply made out of flesh and bones, among other things which us humans have! Certain action figures so far can't exactly replicate those human elements, they can only still go so far. I think the only problem with that pic is that you can't see Hulk's eye,it bugs me.
