Well, this is just tragic IMO. I sincerely never believed that anything would be "up" at Marvel that would possibly account for intentional silent treatment toward the fans, but this now seems to confirm that something IS up. I mean, a private consultant to spy on us? A shrewd move, yes, but how ridiculously sad. This is why I think we all have a responsibility to reject the scripts when we're presented with them and why I was absolutely livid when a particular thread that divulged specific details was at its height. If you recall, someone was willing to tell us virtually anything we wanted to know and many of you gladly took part in it. I of course got reamed for being upset (had to work it out with a mod over PM), but this serves you well - a movie whose executives are "extremely upset" over the leakage. We "need" something, you say? How about a good 'ole can of Shut It? In effect, this is what Marvel is communicating. You want something; you get nothing. Sure, we can blame it on the person who did the leaking and make him the scapegoat, but I think we all have a responsibility in this and it starts with being patient.
Two posts over a span of several days/pages on this thread... I'm not sure whether you want the credit or not based on your second post, but it seems you called it in the first post. Kudos to you.
