Daredevil The Inevitable Costume Thread

Sorry if this has been answered already but is the idea for Daredevil to have this proto-costume for most of the season only to upgrade to the crimson one near the end or will the upgrade happen early on?
No one knows exactly when the transition will take place.

I wouldn't be surprised if the red costume is made by a grateful Melvin Potter after he is rescued/defended by Daredevil/Murdock.

I don't think it'll take too long. Marvel knows what people want to see. He'll probably have the traditional red devil costume for at least 2/3 of the season.

I can see the first 4 episodes using that costume but I'd hope they'd change to the red at that point.

If the clip with Murdock and Temple is in the 1st episode, i reckon the proper costume will be seen by episode 2

The lack of comprehension in this thread is ridiculous.

One thing I will remark is that it seems Matt's black top in his first costume is made of a kind of skin-tight compression material. So it wouldn't be much of a transition to have that in red should he switch to his more classic costume.

Yeah I'd definitely be cool with them keeping the same kind of material for the final costume. I'm hoping they can resist hyper-detailing and just keep the costume sleek and as close to the comic as possible.

Does anyone think that there is a chance for the yellow costume to make an appearance? I like the yellow one.

At this point, I kinda hope not. A prototype costume before they get it right works well. Two costumes just becomes a running joke.

But they can feature it in a easter egg sort of way. In the pilot of Lois & Clark, Clark Kent was trying on all these different costumes that his mother made him (I don't know why she didn't just design it on paper first instead of sewing all of that and him not liking it :funny:). He went through quite a number before settling on the red and blue.

DD could try a few different ones, with one of them being the yellow costume, and Claire Temple can give her thumbs down to it.

Or he could just have the yellow one hanging at his home and someone asks about it and he says it was a failed design or something that he never ended up wearing.

Pity, I always preferred the yellow costume to the red one, mainly because of the backstory behind it. But, I do understand if the series doesn't use the yellow costume, it would look a little corny.

Are we really at a point where having two Marvel Netflix series in a year, in addition to 2-3 Marvel movies and now two Marvel network TV series, feels like it's not enough and we should be getting more!?

:woot:
It's easy to forget how spoiled we are sometimes.

Though I much prefer the red costume and hope/expect it will be DD's inevitable main costume, I would like to see how they could adapt a yellow costume for live action. No idea how they would do it (both technically and for story), but it's something I'd be interested in seeing.

i like the yellow costume, itd b a nice way 2 change things up
and get away from the crappy daredevil moive.

I'd like to see proto-> Yellow -> Red -> Black -> Red over the course of the Netflix MCU.

Did anyone else get a renewed faith that we'd see a faithful adaptation of the classic red costume after seeing that Black Panther concept art?

Never crossed my mind. Though the red costume was never a real concern for me. I don't see it being too hard to pull of personally. Plus I never really minded the movie costume either, regardless of the film around it.
