Trying to pronounce his name...
Mah-mood Ah-ma-de-ne-jah-dee
He has no gays in his country, it's true.
There are actually some ultra-Orthodox Jews who are vehemently anti-Zionist because they don't feel that we've earned the right to enter the Holy Land yet. He's just latching on to them for PR.
Considering that Ahmadinejad has also made interviews on American TV that go against everything he says in Iran - it could easily be a ploy.
Though in the end, Ahmadinejad still stated that he wants to wipe out Israel - he has simply found some nuts (who happen to be jewish) that agree.
I mentioned this in my thread that he NEVER stated that Israel must be wiped off the map.
Are you saying that the rest are Zionist?
As a not-particularly-Zionist Jew myself, no. I'm pointing out that they exist, and have actually sent representatives to at least one convention of Holocaust-deniers held in Iran.
Those who still argue that the main stream media is truthful, consider this video:

Why is this shocking? Up until now, we are still being led to believe that Ahmadinejad hates Jews. Clearly we are not being told the whole story. Why hasn't this video been well-circulated? Are there people out there who are trying to push us into seeing just one side of the story?![]()
Just lovely...bribe Iran with money and membership. Same rhetoric, different politician.
Sorry, reasoning with Iran's people might be one thing, but reasoning with Iran's warped government is completely different. The last thing we should do is try and 'strike a deal' with a corrupt government that is bent on killing all 'infidels' from the west. If anything, we should topple the Iranian government and give the country back to the people.
NEXT!
I'm all in favor of diplomacy over war, but Obama is completely wrong with his approach.
Economic incentives are not going to work. We've tried the very same thing with North Korea under Clinton they didn't work. Bush is doing the very same thing, I'm willing to bet that those will fail. And Obama doing the same for Iran will fail too, especially since Iran has Russia's backing.
Another reason for me to think that he shouldn't be President.
No it's the same damn thing. We bribe a leader to stop their nuclear program. They halt it for a few years, then secretly bring it back up. It happened with North Korea and if this happens, it'll happen with Iran.Kim Jong is completely different. North Korea is completely isolated. We have no idea what is going on over there. We don't even know what North Korea's favortie prime time tv show is.
Going by Iran's current statements, they aren't allowing inspectors.Secondly Obama never said that he would just take Iran's word for it with no weapons inspectors.
Lets see, Clinton bribed the regime in North Korea with economic incentives in return for Kim Jong Il to end his nuclear program. Kim Jong Il received the incentives and went back to work on his program anyways. Despite the fact that no nuclear bomb hasn't been used yet (their first bomb was pretty much a dud and the program is not complete) and we didn't go to war, it was a complete failure. He continued with his program.Your also forgetting something. How much of a failure was it with Kim Jong, really? We were not bombed and we didn't go to war. And the money we gave them surely was less expensive than war when it comes to dollars and lives lost, wasn't it?
No it didn't work on the complete basis that absolutely nothing at all was accomplished. Instead it gave the totalitarian regime in North Korea a much needed lifeline while they still worked on their program. It made things even worse. Just because no lives were lost due to a war, doesn't mean something was successful. Bush is doing the same damn thing and it's going to fail yet again. And chances are that if Obama does it, it'll fail too.So did it work? Yeah it has worked so far. We had a bump in the road a year ago, but so far so good. I think Clinton chose the lesser of two evils. Clinton's plan didn't cause the death's of thousands of people.
Pleez tell us you're joking...
Let me ask this:IF Bush and co. believe all this is truth.-Then why not take our 'evidence' To the IAEA?
