such as nice car
i wonder whats gonna be Stark's next car in Avengers 2
I'm guessing not the Electric R8
Space armor looks great!
Is this Guy Pierce?
Oh my god, you're right...he does!
AND LOOK AT THOSE GLASSES!!!
What is the blue and gold armor on the right hand side?
Politicians says stuff like this all the time "I was elected to fix the economy and thats what I intend to do."
Obama had to basically say this everytime he had a debate or a speech regarding it. Economy, etc.
The one right in the middle looks like an Iron-Deadpool. haha
the one on the left that has too much red looks like Ant man suit
I think it is....
I was wondering if anyone could add their thoughts to this.
Kevin Feige has gone on the record of saying that one of the whole reasons for War Machine being upgraded into the “Iron Patriot” was due to the fact that US Government feels kind of embarrassed that they weren’t the ones to save the day at the Battle in New York City.
But, isn’t SHIELD an organization that is affiliated with the US as well? And the last time that I checked, Captain America was a soldier that was enlisted as part of being an soldier within the U.S. military, so if anything, wouldn’t they be happy that they had one of their famed golden boys involved with saving the day, let alone with the group having been initiated by SHIELD?
SHIELD doesn't answer to the US, it answers to that World Security Council.
So is that pretty face Vanity Fair reporter from the first two films gonna make an appearence in this one?!
My apologies for sounding ignorant, since I really dont know much about this, but isnt the US a part or represented within the World Security Council?
Also, based on what weve heard about the effects of the Extremis virus inside this film, is it safe to say that its pretty much somewhat of a carbon copy version of the super soldier serum?
I thought it looked like some kind of ant-man suit too. easter egg maybe? lol
not sure about the shield/wsc/usa stuff but I'm pretty sure Extremis is going to be a failed super soilder serum like blonsky and red skull.. makes sense they keep going that route.
Not a carbon copy, no. Extremis is like the super soldier serum on steroids.
Think of the World Security Council as the United Nations with genuine authority and an actual military to back up their actions, instead of worthless UN "peacekeepers" that serve as little more than walking targets and cannon fodder for both sides of any given conflict.
So the Battle of New York would be the equivalent of the UN coming in and saving the day in Manhattan, while actual US forces were powerless to defend their own homeland.
Yes, it would be a huge black eye to the US military.
Yet the US military is fully aware of SHIELD and is able to associate with them to some degree.
i wonder how they are gonna tie extremis with super soldier....
there is potential for Cap or Banner cameo but since Feige denies that...maybe thats left for Post credits
No more so than the way the US military associates with the UN currently; in fact, there's probably less dialogue between the US and the WSC/SHIELD.
I don't recall any scenes in Avengers or *any* Marvel Studios movie that had SHIELD coordinating with US forces. The National Guard and NYPD mobilized, obviously, during the Battle of New York, but clearly they weren't taking orders from SHIELD/Avengers --- NYPD cop to Cap: "Why should I take orders from you?"
And in the battle with Hulk at Culver University in TIH, the US Army engaged the gamma goliath; but the extent of SHIELD involvement was only that Black Widow was "watching over him."
Yeah well the World Security Council wanted to nuke NYC, so they didn't care about coordination.
I think it will just be like another mad scientist, Killian in this case maybe or a higher up we don't know about yet (Leader maybe?). Who is trying to replicate the serum or possibly modify it in this case to make a superior race. So maybe not a replica but a modification or something.
Just got back from Oz and I have to say - IRON MAN 3... best 3D ever! I was literally blown away by the depth of field it had. It was the first time I saw 3D and truly felt like I was right there in the moment. I'm unsure if they just picked the coolest scenes for the trailer or if the whole film feels that live but.... WOW!
