exactly. It's basically a super-soldier serum.

theoretically it's meant to re-heal your body and give you super-strength and durability... the side effect is the heat (i believe) due to the body temperature increase. Which of course, if you over-heat, you explode.

It's the same two characters in both scenes on the TV, so it's basically the same storyline. They're both from season 2.

What is Mark 4?

Mark 1 - Built this in a cave with a bunch of scraps
Mark 2 - Silver

I kind of thought that their use of super strength and durability throughout the entire film was enough evidence that Extremis grants super strength and durability to those injected with it...

Yeah I know, but how exactly does it do it? Is there any nanotech included? How exactly does it change the body? I dunno, for a movie that relies on straight-forward exposition most of the time, they didn't really explain that very well.

Same goes for Killian. I was a bit confused about his motivations and his plan. I didn't fully understand what he was trying to do ultimately.

One of the biggest misfires/mistakes that no one is talking about is that the SCORE for this film was a MAJOR step back.

The score from the first two, ESPECIALLY Iron Man was one of the best superhero themes out there. They didn't totally abandon it in Iron Man 2 and would riff it a few times here and there... In Iron Man 3, they totally abandoned it.

This was a MAJOR letdown and could have elevated the film another notch.

Uh, the music was a major improvement both as an orchestral score and as a compliment to the film.

Not that the music in IM was bad or anything, but it was no definitive theme music. Especially in the 2nd film where it felt totally unapparent...like an unsocial person at a crazy party.

This SCREAMS Iron Man. One of the great things about the Iron Man films was that it wasn't a full on, classic orchestral score. It was brash, edgy and a little hard rock. It was different.

For me it was, this is the music I will always associate with Iron Man. It's just perfect for the character.

The Mark 16 "Nightclub Black Stealth suit" is the one he first fights Killian in

then gets into the Mark 40 "Shotgun Hyper Velocity Suit" whilst in airborne..

Then after he puts on the Mark 42 on Killian and asks Jarvis to blow it up, he jumps into the Mark 15 "Sneaky Stealth suit"
