Yeah that was excruciating. When I went to download it my iTunes was screwed up.
Oh I'm on the west coast for Midnight PST is Midnight here. But I stll didn't last long that night, lol. Felt kinda silly when we still didn't get it til like noon or whatever it was.
completing the Tropic Thuder stare off!!!
In regards to the theater attack, does anyone think that maybe:
If Firepower is the one who steals the Iron Patriot suit, he does a suicide attack against the theater by detonating the armor?
It's a theory, I certainly can't argue against it given what little information there is on the film. Could be interesting.
Who knows, maybe it could even be exploded by the Mandarin remotely have no use further use for him.
I just got a kick out of the "extended look" lol I had enough time lastnight to borrow wifi to download it before storms rolled in at work.
In a way, I felt let down, I guess in some ways I was hoping for too much.
I was hoping for something new teased.
I felt let down the first time I saw the 30 second Super Bowl ad, simply because I wanted it to be longer. But then I watched it again and realized, "Holy ****! They just blew up Air Force One and Iron Man is soaring through the sky saving falling people!" And then I snapped out of it. t:
Any guesses as to what that shot of Guy Pierce looking over the edge of that dropoff is?
Aftermath of the malibu house destruction maybe.
Hall of armors?
The shot from the first trailer showing someone walking through some rubble barefoot seems to be Guy Pierce. So I would guess the shot from the superbowl shot is the same scene.
"Aftermath of the malibu house destruction maybe."
Killian: Knock knock... huh? Wait... didn't there used to be a house here somewhere? *looks over cliff edge" oooohhh, right.
It's all an expectations game.
I was disapointed by the trailer it self but was in awe of the footage.
Exactly, that's what I meant in my last post. Think about it...Iron man at the highest point in the circle slowing down their descent while the rest of the circle hangs down...2 people aren't gonna be able to hold the weight of the other 11 even if Iron Man can carry all of that weight.
It's not 100% believable but then again neither are green rage monsters and magic hammers. I wouldn't worry about it so much.
I think the problem sure IS that they weigh too much. It's not that Iron Man can't support all that weight, it's that if they were holding hands in a circle, 2 people would not be able to support the weight of the other 11, like the other person said (sorry can't remember the name). I admit I didn't explain myself well though in that other post lol.
Wow....I can't believe they are actually doing that. Looks like he's got 2 hanging onto his sides, but then 2 more are actually supporting the weight of the remaining 9. I hope they explain how Iron Man transfers super strength to those 2 people.
Or they don't and just let it be cool
That makes the most sense to me, Iron Man can fly fast enough to do that if they are high up enough, which it looks like they are.
It looks impossibly ridiculous to me.
Sure they can let it be cool and dramatic, and I'm sure it'll be an awesome scene. But this is the forum where nerds pick apart the logic of stuff like that, you should know that if you're posting on here.
Why would that require super strength? 2 people supporting the weight of 9 is 1 person supporting the weight of 4 & 1/2. Factor in that it's only for a very short period of time, the people in question having an adrenaline rush and the fact that the weight itself might be only 600-800lbs per person(or even less) then I see no need for super strength in the picture.
I fail to see why. Nothing impossible is being accomplished, just something difficult.
