Those films you DON'T own, but your collection is not complete without it.

It could be a rare 'Special Edition' that you've been searching for, for the best part of a decade and just not seen it anywhere or something you just haven't got round to buying yet.

This will probably be a thread more 'commonly' useful for myself than others, in that I don't shop on-line so all my purchases are shop bought and require keen 'finding' skills, as apposed to many people I know who will simply dial up Amazon, but for the chat, let everyone know what films you are on the look for, in completing that collection 'jigsaw'.

I need that as well.

There are too many things I could list here. Lots of gaps in various horror franchises or movies I just haven't gotten to for financial reasons, etc. One big one for me is I need to upgrade my copy of Transformers: The Movie to Blu Ray.

Same here. There are a handful of movies and franchise collections I haven't gotten yet but I'm working towards. I have all the big ones though (MCU, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Batman: TAS, Alien/Predator, minus Prometheus and Covenent and the AVP movie I only have on DVD or it's awful sequel).

Eventually my next big completion is the X-Men movies. It's such a minefield of quality though I have only a few bits here and there.

My main one is Condorman, for nostalgia reasons, I know it's on-line (but as said in opening post, don't shop on-line) and finding it in-store anywhere is near impossible.

Condorman (1981) - IMDb

In terms of 'franchise' completion, my Halloween collection requires 4,5,6 (waiting to see if I can find Producer's Cut before buying any version) and if I can bear it, Resurrection, I have the first, second, third and H:20, not even counting the Zombie films as part of the whole collection.

Got to add 'The Dark Crystal' to my list on Blu-ray.

In view of JW3 coming out, need to add Speed to my KR BR collection, alongside the JW films, Point Break and The Matrix collection, have it on VHS but never upgraded, must sort this out.

Been meaning to grab the Batman The Animated Series blu ray release as an upgrade over the DVD’s I already have.

Star Wars Rebels seasons 3&4 and Bates Motel seasons 3-5 to finish those collections off.

At first I took this to mean Jurassic World 3 and then realized Speed means Keanu Reeves and John Wick. :o

I'll add to this so no confusion lay, I also need the B&T films on BR too, as I only have VHS copies, no dinosaurs with homework problems there I believe ;)

Finally bagged myself this today via Amazon, arrives Friday ! :-)

I have been looking at my Blu Ray collection for Kaiju films recently. I need to pick up Mothra when it comes out, and I am hoping the Showa Godzilla films come out from Criterion so I can have all the Godzilla films upgraded to Blu Ray. Angry right now that as I finally picked up King Kong '33 and Son of Kong, the 70s King Kong remake and King Kong Lives are not on blu ray (and KKL is rare even on DVD). Yeah, those films suck. But, I need them!

Got to add 'The Dark Crystal' to my list on Blu-ray.

Done

My next 'destiny, you will be mine purchase' is the Last Starfighter, it never gets a UK release and will have to get it on US import me thinks.
