Check out this crazy hilarity from the 1978 Japanese live-action SPIDER-MAN television series. Looks far more fun and entertaining than the American series from the same period!

And PS despite my Batman sig please don't think I'm a troll trying to make fun of Spidey. I love the ole' webslinger, I just think these clips are so cheesy and fun, hopefully a lot of you Sipdey fans might think the same (if you haven't seen them already)!
 
Yeah, they're ok. I like the Nicolaus Hammond show a bit better though...

I guess the Hammond show was a bit more faithful to the source material, and I DID like J. J. J. in that series (the guy who played Larry Tate in BEWITCHED), but I always thought the villains were boring in the US series....mainly generic bank robbers and diamond smugglers. The Japanese version just seems to be a bit more comic-booky, colorful and imaginative.
