well since bill skarsgard already played an evil clown in it and since the joker is an evil clown I think bill skarsgard could play the joker because he had shown he can play an evil clown

But also Skarsgard obviously has the range to play Joker so why shouldn't he be cast? I mean he can actually act but also he has proven that he can actually be a pretty convincing bad guy but playing The Joker is not like playing Pennywise not even close because they are different characters

Similar to when other redhead actress get fancast for Poison Ivy because of the redhair. It just makes sense.



Also, the Chalament fan casting is bloody awful to me. He has that Michael Cera/Eisenberg gene, which will still make look like a teenager well into his late 30s. Eh, not to mention he is damn over hyped and boring actor to me. I hope Villeneuve can at least make him less annoying on screen for Dune.
