I didn't really bother with the X-Men movies after Last Stand (save for DOFP), so I actually had no clue he starred as Cyclops tbh.

But sure, why not. I just know him from a few recent crime movies.

I would actually really want to see what Robert Downey Jr would do with the Joker. It would be something completely different for him and I think he would kill it. I would love to see him go really dark and still be humorous.

How is it lazy when he has never played a role similar to that before? I understand not liking the choice, but lazy?

I mean both Depp or Downey would have been a great Joker at certain points in their careers. If you don't think that, you're just being silly.

I've got nothing against the guy but he's too young to play Joker in my opinion.

He's already been cemented as Iron Man. Seeing him as Joker would be too bizarre

I'd be surprised if RD decided to tackle another comic book character. It's kind of insane how much time he spent playing Stark.

He's probably not gonna do it, but I feel he'd be perfect for their style.

Really? That's a bit sad. I wouldn't mind seeing him in interesting roles in smaller films/dramas etc after his MCU career.
