He's a very talented improv comic who has been in many films and was the lead of a show for 5 seasons!

it's kind of off-topic and kilter, but David Bowie and the Gerard Way would be my inspiration for the Joker, lol. I imagined him as having a green mullet, with it being a pompadour at the front.

But that's just a weird and different interpretation I had of the character I wanted to throw out there.

A classy, stylish Joker modeled on Bowie is exactly what I want. In keeping with that aesthetic, there isn't a lot of Dark Knight Returns left that I want to see mined but I think the white suit would be a great, distinct look for the Reeves Joker.

If they were going for an older Joker then I'd pick Willem Dafoe, but he's too obvious. Sure, he'd definitely kill it, but I'd like to see this kind of Joker design with the light green hair and pink circles around the eyes for whoever they cast (and of course they have to look the part as well).

He would have been perfect 30 years ago! I know Reeves is going comic book and grounded with his Batman movies. I'm so excited on who he cast as Joker and for this movie to come out! I have a list of action, comic book, martial arts and dramas coming out next year. The Batman and Spider-Man are my top 10 must see(plus they are my top fave comic book characters of all time!) Now for that Superman reboot

Batman wouldn't work in the game for obvious reasons. An MK-style Marvel game would be the bee's knees although I'm not sure how it'd work. In an ideal world the MK games would have guest characters like Punisher, Venom, Deadpool, Wolverine(?), and Carnage. ESPECIALLY Carnage.

How could Reeves differentiate his Joker from what's come before and fit his universe

We don't really know what his universe is like to judge what would fit in it.

I'd rather have a freelance psychopath rather than just a straight-up serial killer. I really have no idea how to describe the comic book Joker because he's not an anarchist, but he's not just a serial killer either

What’s made the successful cinematic iterations so popular (aside from the superb performances) is how they seemed to encapsulate the “evil” of their times.

While Joaquin’s version surrounding mental health is still very much a modern issue, there are plenty of other character templates that exist today in people who we’d deem to be malicious to public safety.

In fact I think Joaquin being softly portrayed in the sympathetic light plays well to Reeves’ possible iteration, providing an easy path to a contrasting alternative.
