It damn well ought to be with all the promos that have been released.

One thing Ragnarok seems to have above the other Thor movies is that it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously, which is something they did and didn't exactly work out too well.

Could it be because the movie is.... fun?

Yeah I get that. But you're saying they don't think twice about the word, although they regularly mention it in their reviews? Unless you meant they don't actively think about it when they're reviewing the film?

I'm saying that they don't attach any meaning to it beyond the definition of the word.

Yes, I read it thinking it would be bulls*** but I liked what I read. I now believe it's true though.

Cool, man. I didn't read anything but you're one of my boyz and I take your word for it so it's good to hear you liked whatever it is that's out there.:up:

And DCEU fans do?

No one here is attaching the meaning to the word. It's just comical how much of it the 'critics' use when reviewing certain films. It makes them look as if the first thing they ask themselves when the film was over was 'was it fun?' and depending on the answer it colors their entire view of the film.

Yeah, it's pretty cool that the overall reaction to the spoilers so far have been positive. It has been positive right? Lol.

Ragnarok looks visually stunning in every sense of the word but for me, they've turned the Thor character into a Saturday Night Live nitwit. I'm sure it's great and I'm sure everything is a blast and all, but my personal feeling is that they've went so overboard with humor that Thor can never be takin' serious ever again due to the nature of treating the character like a complete trainwreck of a joke factory. If I was a fan, that would bother me immensely. MEH.

I think so. There's only one thing there I hate and many things that could be either terrible or cool depending on execution. But it looks...fun :funny:

Staying away from spoilers as well, please tell me there's some juicy Superman stuff on there.

Other than the horrendous "justice" line which is the only spoiler I've read.

He most likely will be taken seriously in Infinity War due to the Russos' direction and gritty style.

In contrast, I think DCEU characters are treated wayy to seriously. I hope Whedon has brought some lightheartedness to JL.

Hahaha glad that the fun appeals to you. :cwink: To me, it looks like an epic kickass superhero film. I'm really excited for it.

Yeah it's such a shame that the critics eviscerated that Nolan guy. I really think he delivered a good trilogy of Batman films, but they just hated him.

This is exactly what i thought - i saw the promo's and i was like and esp with the jeff goldblum scenes, i was left scratching my head thinking 'GOTG has ruined this franchise' it looks way too zany and camp.
Almost like going from B89 straight into B&R but with better production

Please just tell me that Superman "justice" line was fake. Please!

What is this? A DCEU fan actually excited for Thor: Ragnarok? Madness! This is not how stereotypes are supposed to work. :o

Yeah, it bothered me too, but the humour I've seen so far has made me laugh. I like Taika's humour. Gunn's was a bit too childish and in your face.

The only thing about anons post was it was very generic, it didn't go into too much detail. It was stuff like (and I've made these up):

- Diana talks to Barry
- Cyborg fights a Parademon

He didn't give details on what the conversations were or what happened in the fights etc.

But the basics of what he told it seems there are some great moments IMO.

I think the board needs to write a collective thank you letter to Nolan if it wasn't for him who would you perrpetually use as crutch in your posts

but silently in my head, not to disturb people :funny:

I'm hearing that this superman
is closer to the chris reeve one. Not sure what that means unless it means more smiles, more friendly, etc etc.
