This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]536269[/split]
It's a little weird for Whedon to be known as a feminist and yet he added this into the movie.

Actually, Flash reacted the way that a gentleman should in that situation, and it was hilarious.
Saw it yesterday - have my review in the designed thread.
It was ok. Entertaining, but nothing truly special. Probably won't see it again at the cinema due to its all over the place editing and inconsistency.
Hurts saying this for a JL film - fun, entertaining, but average in its personality and possibly forgettable in the long run.
5/10
Or, they could try to make good movies regardless of tone.
They should also stop trying to reshape a movie in post.
Or they should just trust their director and stand by his product.
Are we still playing the game where we pretend Wonder Woman only got better reviews than the other DC movies because it's about a woman.
Or better yet, stop hiring directors whose work makes them feel the need to reshoot and edit it heavily in the first place. There are many people who have blame in this fiasco. Tsujihara's meddling made for an incoherent and tonally awkward movie, but it's also clear Snyder should not have been asked back after BVS anyway. Their hands were tied because of the production schedule, but they wouldn't have had to smash the movie apart with a sledge hammer and then hastily duct taped it back together if they'd just gotten a different director.

People are acting like Snyder was gonna make JL another divisive movie. I really don't think so. It was always gonna be lighter, it was gonna emphasise the heroes, and it would have had a straightforward story with a way shorter runtime than BvS.

Yet WB still deemed it necessary to kick him off the movie, bring in Joss Whedon, and hack this movie to bits.People are acting like Snyder was gonna make JL another divisive movie. SvB was cut because of nothing else but the length of the movie that's it.Yeah. We didn't hear any talk about WB tinkering with Wonder Woman after Patty Jenkins was finished. You know why? Because the director's cut didn't suck.
