i hope the people who choreographed the BvS warehouse fight get more work in the DCEU

Richard Cetrone, the stuntman who does the Batman stunts in BVS and JL has confirmed there IS a Zack Snyder cut. He sent this message on Facebook to a group of fans: "Please pass along to your group my thanks for their passion in supporting Zack. Tell them I know for a fact that a Zack Snyder cut does exist and with the help of people like you and your group we can hopefully persuade WB to release it. Thanks again."

They worked in Wonder Woman movie with Patty Jenkins and since Zack Snyder is the Producer of WW 2, I think those stunt choreographers will be back again to work on WW 2.

He said, if I remember correctly, when it was found, that it had been dormant, and that it lit up like a Christmas tree when Superman died.

He never said it didn't do anything else before that point.

If it hadn't done anything else before that point, what would have been the point of Star labs studying it? And more to the point, how would Cyborg have been created? We see that it created him before the death of Superman. Victor doesn't mention that part of things, but neither is Victor the most open character about his personal origins and issues.

Doesn't the information about his origins get revealed to the other heroes later on in the film? Isn't that the catalyst for Bruce thinking that maybe they can bring Superman back?

The quotes I am mentioning lead into him discussing what happened to him. Bruce even states "he used it on you". Therefore how could it have been used on him if it wasn't usable until Superman died?

BvS warehouse fight was on point, WW choreography was even better though there really weren't any fights.

oh wow, dope, loved that scene after smashing through the window

bit too much slo-mo though

Nice. But Batman grinning like a ****ing idiot will always be horrendous. A smirk would have been perfect.

True.

Btw, have you seen this clip as well? It's the resurrection clip but fused with Hans's music instead. My god, I know it's been said a lot of times already, but what a difference music can make for a scene.

The selected music elevated the scene to another level for me personally.

I know Elfman didn't have a lot of time to work on this but that doesn't excuse him from not reusing Junkie's and Zimmer's established themes.

See, **** like that makes me sad. That was perfect. There is no excuse for Elfman not using the established themes. And he threw it all out for what? A desperate attempt at nostalgia? His own arrogance? Ugh. The DCEU scenes have always been elevated by the scores accompanying them IMO. JL is a real let-down in this regard.

This destroys Elfman's half-assed score and was exactly what fans were expecting. This also makes me wonder, where does this particular music and Lois quote come from? This quote was changed in the movie. I'm thinking maybe they took the original ending of Zack's cut and plastered it over this motion poster.

Yeah! Tsujihara's dumbass is out!

So, is Emmerich in any way responsible for the fiasco that is JL? I forget all the names involved. We know Berg, we know KT, but I forget what, if any, Emmerich's role was.

Good to see that Emmerich was promoted in the process as well. I like the way he thinks.

From an old Variety interview:

Ok, this is what I needed to see. I do NOT want DC movies to be MCU movies. Let them be distinct.

I’m not sure how I feel about that :funny:

Trying too hard to be like marvel is bad.
Trying too hard to be different is bad.

Just make good movies goddamnit :funny:

If a character absolutely requires an r rating(Logan and Deadpool) FINE
But don’t go trying to make every character ”very adult “

To me, it's not being afraid of being more serious, or not putting too many jokes to hit all quadrants, even if that may mean less dollar bills. Don't undercut tension by inserting jokes. If a movie or scene needs to marinate in whatever context, let it be. If Shazam! is to be playful, let it be playful, although you can add some creepy elements too, given the magic involved and the 7 Sins at the Rock of Infinity. I think WW is a good example. It can be fun, but also be serious (a character struggling with PTSD, the ugly sides of war, Diana saving the village only to see them still get killed, Diana killing fake Ares, etc).

The idea, though not conveyed well, was that when Superman died, the mother box sent a message to Steppenwolf that Earth was now vulnerable. That doesn't mean the mother box was inert before then, just that it got all crazy after his death, similar to what we see before Steppenwolf arrives on Themyscira.

Ya know, if WB had really cared about this film, they should have delayed JL until 2018. Maybe a March release. It would have given the visual effects time to work on the effects, and for the reshoots to be fitted in more organically.

Honestly, I think they were in a "damned if they do and damned if they don't" type of scenario.

They probably had several investors to answer to and would have taken a financial loss if they had delayed the film.

Plus, 2018 is already as crowded as it is with several big blockbusters, most notably Infinity War, coming out this summer as well.

And I think that if they had delayed this even further than people would have lost what little anticipation there was for this film from the start, due to the loss in momentum.

This movie had very little momentum in it's favor, actually this movie (JL) should have been named as "Dawn of Justice" instead of Justice League.
