This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]530427[/split]
Oh, I trust you when you say it's in good hands. WW was amazing & James Wan is on Aquaman, Mathew Vaughn & the BTTF guy are being courted for Flash. The future is bright for the DCEU. Whedon to me is bad for JL, what he did in AOU was just.. Too much. I'm not excited for the idea of Stepphenwolff being a quipster or there being a ton of humor.
And sorry dude, you kinda lost me on Homecoming the moment Peter started wearing a spandex Iron Man suit & Ned Leeds was turned into Ganke from Miles Morales. (maybe your theories were right)
Oh great, we're getting into the "Justice League is no longer a Snyder movie" argument again.
Allow me to politely throw myself off a window and plummet to the ground.![]()
@Sawyer I don't, not after AOU. Quippy, non-menacing, weak Ultron, killing Quicksilver instead of Hawkeye, the forced humor etc. I'm glad the Russos are directing Infinity War instead of him. That's just the way Whedon writes his characters.. Ugh, why couldn't Patty Jenkins be brought in for the additional scenes??
Nope, not from Homecoming. That ship sailed a long time ago. SSM will proudly uphold that title for the forseeable future. My theories pre getting to actually know stuff? Flat out wrong. Miles isn't becoming THE Spider-Man in the MCU. Now everything else? From Tom Holland to Zendaya: Keep your cool and you will get THE best Spider-Man that the world has ever seen.
Avengers was great, but I don't want Justice League to be like that movie. I want the Justice League Snyder promised in Man of Steel & BvS. Epic, mythic & huge in scale. He turned Ultron into a literal punchline. That wasn't interference from Marvel, that was him & his humor. Same for most of the ecsessivse quips & punchlines in the movie. I'm just not a fan of Whedon, I hope his involvement in this movie is barely noticeable in the final product. As for the DCEU: Geoff Johns and Jon Berg are heroes. They are the Kevin Feige of the DCEU and Patty Jenkins Wonder Woman is her win, but it was possible to happen the way it was because of them. Same for Whedon's involvement. Whedon won't turn "things into a joke". Joss Whedon is a visionary director that made The Avengers possible. He is now responsible for the Justice League, and who knows what the future holds after that. The future of the DCEU couldn't be more bright than it is right now.

Agree. I'm still a believer Whedon is filming scenes that were going to be filmed anyway, mainly involving Superman and maybe Lois. Snyder just isn't going to be the man filming or editing those scenes, but they'll fit the tone Snyder already established. A new trailer for JL is due soon I think, so did Whedon film all of that content as well, or is he going to throw it all away and re-film it? You know what I mean? This will remain a Zack Snyder film.Avengers was great, but I don't want Justice League to be like that movie. I want the Justice League Snyder promised in Man of Steel & BvS. Here's my honest, personal take/opinion. Whether the reshoots are minor or major, I am hoping Whedon was brought on just to add more smaller character moments and thats it. Whedon's strength is dialogue and banter. Action is not his thing. Zack is a beast when it comes to action and i'm hoping, action wise, the film retains Zack's visual and editing style for the big set pieces. I'm anticipating that whatever the third act of this film is, its gonna be an epic monster of an action piece, probably the biggest we've seen in a CBM thus far. And I'm hoping Whedon doesn't mess with it. But, for the record, I am all for him inserting more character moments in between the punching and lasers.
I'm gonna kill him -> I'm gonna kill him -> Send JL Youtube clip email -> I'm gonna kill him -> Wait, what did he say his mom's name was? -> Alright, I guess we're friends. -> Oh no, now he's dead. -> RIP Best Friend, sorry I failed you.

So has the 3 month re-shoot thing been actually confirmed by reliable sources?
It's just 1 month reshoots.
Edit: Since when did BOF became informative ?
