With a little tweak, I think it can look pretty good.
James Wan responds to Aquaman villain reports.
I think Michael K Williams may be a bit old, they'll likely want someone close in age to Momoa, especially if they go the route of having them kill each others fathers. And yeah, the Young Justice suit is the way to go:
If not Black Manta then who? If he's a reluctant king and hero than I suppose Orm could be the villain.
Orm should be the villain for the first film but Black Manta personally I would save him for an Aquaman sequel as its sequel villain
Michael Jai White also throws his hat in the ring.
You need somebody that could go toe to toe with Momoa, or at least look like they could.
That's cute. It's good to have dreams, Michael.
What do you mean?
I don't think rowsdower is a fan of Michael's acting
I see. Well, acting chops wasn't the biggest reason for some casting choices in DCEU and Marvel.
He's in great shape, though. And won't look inferior next to Momoa.
michael was already in dark knight dont think he can be in aquaman bee too confusing like why is gamble here wtf thought joker kill him
Before that he was in Spawn. It doesn't mean anything. I'm not advocating for him, I'm open for other candidates. I was just wondering why people don't like him.
White was also Bronze Tiger on Arrow.
it is so confusing is he spawn is he gamble is he the golden tiger himself i dont know
It's not his acting so much as the fact that he's a Z-lister and they're not going to cast someone like him as the lead role in this unless the DCEU's reputation has become so bad that name actors are avoiding them like the plague.
As for MJW himself, he was great in Black Dynamite; I absolutely love that film. But he's been mediocre to bad in everything else I've seen him in. He was decent in his microscopic role in TDK... that's about it, really. He was particularly awful on Arrow.
But he was also Black Dynamite so I guess after he died and came back in Spawn he died and came back as Gamble and became Black Dynamite but also Bronze Tiger so maybe his soul split in two and then when he becomes Black Manta it will split in three
Please give me this suit:
I would have been up for Bokeem Woodbine, who recently played Mike Milligan in Season 2 of FARGO, as Black Manta. But apparently he's been cast as a villain role - I think I heard he was Shocker - in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING.
He played a convincing Mike Tyson in a TV movie about ten years back....
Thoughts on Orm in Aquaman as either a central antagonist, or someone who descends into villainy later on in an Aquaman sequel?
I don't want him to be the sort of villain who doesn't appear as the villain until the sequel.
Start him off as the main antagonist and then make his attempts to start war with humanity the catalyst that radicalises black manta for a sequel
I guess Orm is going to be the main villain in this movie.
Denzel as Black Manta? Fingers crossed
