Hello Hypesters. I The Kid present to you this afternoon before I head off to work (yay!) this epic ULTIMATE duel between two classic films that I'm absolutely sure many people have enjoyed, not only that, but been enlightened by their complex and emotional stories that represent many of life's complex questions. What is the Glow? :wow: And how does one find its power?

This thread will certainly get the power of the glow as it goes on to engender several pages of highly intelligent discussion, yessss?

aha so you also will open this kind of threads.

hehehe

no contest, the Last Dragon has been a huge part of my childhood ever since i can remember (to this day it's still one of my favorite movies) and it's a much better film from a plot and acting standpoint. the characters are more interesting and the villain is much more threatening. Bruce Leroy even gives off more of a Goku vibe than Chatwin, especially because Bruce Leroy is very naive and is on a quest. even the fight scenes are more entertaining. the ONLY thing that DB:E has over the Last Dragon (which should be no surprise) would be the effects but the Last Dragon is an early 80's movie.

That's an interesting point I never thought of myself. You're half right. Bruce Leroy reminds me more of older heroic superman Goku. Chatwin was channeling more of young childish punches women goku in my mind. And Sho-nuff > Piccolo, I have to agree there, Dorky.

you're black and you haven't seen the Last Dragon? shame on you...hehe

First DBE isn't even out in America so it can be any where near to being a classic film. Secondly The Last Dragon takes the cake on this one hands down. I would also like to second the shame for the black who has not seen The Last Dragon. Netflix that **** now :hehe:

the Last Dragon = the best blackaneseploitation movie EVAR!

Ooooo. love me some the Last Dragon.

Sho-nuff as he dunks Bruce Leroy's head under the water: who is the master?
Bruce Leroy: .....
Sho-nuff as he continues drowning Bruce Leroy: Who is the MASTER?
Bruce Leroy: .....
Sho-nuff: WHO IS THE MASTER???
Bruce Leroy gets the glow, comes flying up outta the water and says :I AM....BIAATCH!!

I just watched Dragonball Evolution online, ive been a huge Dragonball and Dragonball Z fan for over 10 years. Ive seen about every episode, movie, special.... but this, this is beyond a shadow of a doubt one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Im a 80's kid, I grew up in that era, The Last Dragon is much better than this. Dragonball did not deserve this type of rape,, it was painful to watch, it would be different if this was coming straight to DVD, but they are actually putting it out in theatres, im speechless. No sequel, please no sequel, they need to leave this series alone. If they want to make a DB or DBZ movie, make it animated, with a new story, new villain, new battles, more intense and adult themed to put it in the theatres, but not like this. I will go see a Last Dragon sequel before I ever watch a DB movie like this again. I have to go home to watch some DBZ episodes with some good fights, to get that DB evolution out of my mind.... I can't beleive they put this out...

i actually felt the need to play tenkaichi 3 again.^^
