Ugh. One thing I hate about SVU is the family members. Stabler's wasn't too bad until they pushed Maureen down our throats until she ultimately got written out with bipolar disorder. Finn's son, Olivia's brother, Ben Stone's long lost son...

Finn's Son never really bothered me. I kinda liked their "relationship" and the episode(s) with Ludacris were some really good ones, and that involved the family. Ken's working at the school with cases and stuff could've opened more doors to college cases etc but we have already seen the ugliest sides of Hudson U anyways right? That's why I miss Sister Peg. The cases she brought them were always pretty interesting and the characters and what they went through could tug at you.

Olivia's son kinda annoys me lol. They're trying to do too much with him. What happened to Calvin? Where is he? Just dropped him like a bad habit. Same with Stabler's kids. I don't think Maureen was the bipolar one. It was the other daughter and I can't think of her name. Dickie joined the military to get away if memory serves, and did we ever really see the twins? Or the son named after Elliott that Olivia helped birth in the car wreck?

They could've done a lot with Olivia's brother. I feel like they didn't know what to do with him either, especially when they weakly killed him off. I mean, she still has a niece out there. He grew up with the man who raped her mom. There was a lot to unpack there. Their vastly different childhoods, her longing for a family etc. He wanted her to be family too. Just don't love how all that played out.

i could not remember kathleen's name for anything! maureen, kathleen, dickie, elliot jr. no idea what the twins names are. do they have names? lol

Far out of the loop as his partner missed a few episodes in the last season I was Googling Veep to see the "new" detective for next season.
Now the mothership did end its season with a story that in no way does ADA Maroun come back and work with Nolan Price.

And Organized Crime switch to Peacock just means a F bomb is dropped every scene and that last season was dreadful with their white hat hacker Detective Jet leaving early in the season. Jet left with the exact same story reason Kono left Hawaii 5-0. I doubt if it gets picked up but if they do I think they need to beef up the cast and not play with the extreme cheapness, looking worse than the pandemic era productions, this streaming only season gave us.
