For me I liked the heat vision. I liked how it seemed to disorient them every time they used it, limiting it's effectiveness and OP'ness.

Also, the "casual" use of Superman's flight ability. There were parts where he just sort of hovered like it was totally natural, like walking for us.

I agree about his Heat Vision. I like how they're more like lazers coming out of his eyes compared to Smallville/SR ones which were more like heat rays (Which still look good)

Heat vision was the best small touch, the disorientation as well as the heating up the whole eye area... but the flying creatures on Krypton was cool too, just adding that crazy layer to that planet was good.

I agree about heat vision and where he'd hover or float. Really really loved the shockwaves that came with every punch. They really sold that these punches are hard hitting

I really loved the way they used the hovering/floating in this movie. Like when he was lying on the ground and instead of getting up, just floated up. Or when Zod took out the floor beneath him in that building and he didn't fall through, just hovered in the hole. It was just as natural to him as walking is for us.

Everything mentioned so far has been great. A few others I that I liked are

-how Clark pulled up on a bike to the Daily Planet at the end
-how the kid that bullied young Clark before the bus incident (Pete, was it?) gave him a hand up after the other kids were picking on him later on
-how Clark saw Pete working at Ihop when they were adults

    lol Yeah
especially Alessandro Juliani playing Emil's assistant :D

I liked these little details at the top of my head:

-The veins around his eyes when he used heath vision
-Lois shaking and trembling after they land
    -Internet Blogs being important

Ah, I like this thread. Was just talking about this to my bro.

To me, the action was spectacular and Snyder put on a show in how Supes and Zod came to battle.

But, it was the small things that made Cavill's performance as Superman FLAWLESS. His voice. Not necc the sound of it (though perfect, haha) but the way he expressed his words.

The way Cavill spoke the part in many instances JUMPED RIGHT OUT to me when I thought of my comic-book Superman. I view Reeve's version as Christoper Reeve. Cavill put the modern COMIC BOOK touch to his performance and felt more like Superman in dialogue to me.

In the Smallville battle, I loved when Supes and Faora are walking towards each other and the people in the streets are locking the store doors to get away. The way Supes ushers them to safety through his words was just spot on. "Get to safety. It isn't safe here..."

Same battle of Smallville, Supes noticed a fallen soldier out of his aircraft fighting off two Kryptonians, stops, flys underneath, saves the solider, puts him down and asks "Are you okay?" With a gentle shoulder grab. Man, that was so Superman!

Good to know I wasn't the only one who thought of that.

The hovering was the number one little thing I liked.

As did I. I think the people claiming this movie lacking emotion is over-looking key subtle moments. Even when Lois was narrating "To some, a guardian Angel" and you see Lois talking to the woman at the bar in which he stood up for. Little messages like that were over-looked by the audience. They are there. I loved the messages that screamed Superman. The film just doesn't wear it on its sleeve.

I gave a movie 10/10, BUT I'd say out of the smallest detail they've taken that I noticed I'd say the priest from For All Seasons.

He even looked like him somehow, or at least to me.

What the... :wow: the Priest in MOS looked way too similar to this one. As for relating the scene to this CB page, nice catch!

    "Nice suit son."

Agree on the use of heat vision. I loved its look and uses.

Adored the camera work during Superman vs. Zod.

    Every little expression from Faora.

Clark standing up for the adorable waitress.

    The whales.

    Martha and her photo albums.

The various ways Superman flew, including his moments of floating/hovering.

    The various takeoffs.

So many to count at this point.

There are so many things I loved. One line I'm thinknig of is at the end, when Lois says, "Welcome to the Planet, Clark". The double-meaning made it hilarious and it was like a little joke that only Lois and Clark were in on due to his alien heritage. To everyone else, she was just welcoming Clark to the DP.

Yeah, it really showed that there was "hope" for humanity. One instance he's getting picked on, and the next he's being helped.

That isn't a little moment for me. That is a big, glorious, world expanding moment of pure awesome. :awesome:

But if it counts, most definitely. :D

Oh, when Zod shrugged off his armor and rose up like Satan or something. It was actually rather frightening and badass.
