Anyone else up for TLH storyline idea for 3?

if not the storyline then some of the villians

Riddler
Mad Hatter
Scarecrow
mabey Penguin (what was his story in TLH? can anyone tell me?)

bring back Two-Face

TDK was already based on TLH, BB3 should be based on Dark Victory then... :o

Did you not see The Dark Knight? That was pretty damn close to TLH. I mean, the main story of TLH was Harvey Dent and his fall. Which is exactly what TDK was about.

I don't think TDK was like TLH at all, as an adaptation at least. The only minor influence I can see is the triumvirate of Bats, Gordon, and Harvey. And the latter's descent to tragedy. Otherwise, it was a completely different story.

With that said, I really think we should move away from the Loeb series now. It's nice that we now have an established origin and such, but I'd like to explore the latter years of Batman now.

TLH also showed the mob getting desperate with Dent and Batman and turning to the emerging 'freaks'. Or bad guys with themes, whatever you wanna call it. In TDK there was only Joker, but that part was central. It even deserved an Alfred commentary :)

What takes me to my real point... the thing with Loeb's storylines is that his plots work through too many villains (I think he just does it to see how his artists design them). His stories always take for granted A LOT about the Batman universe, and those things have no been established in the Nolanverse. So, it wouldn't work as well as in the comics.

I'd love for them to bring Holiday in the next one, with Gotham falling to the freaks and mob members turning to the freaks for leadership Alberto Falcone returns from his deportation to find his father's legacy in tatters and goes about killing the members of the Falcone family that he feels betrayed the old ways as Holiday.

They already used most of the strong elemts of TLH in The Dark Knight. However, I'd like to see some elements from DV in Batman 3, such as the "Freaks" vs. mobsters , and have Catwoman killing the mobsters instead of Holiday.

Yes, I would expect "Dark Victory" to be the main influence on the next Batman movie, closing the "Year One," "Long Halloween," "Dark Victory" unofficial origin trilogy.

Elements I would expect to see adapted include: war between freaks and mobsters, Bruce's growing isolation, a strained relationship with Gordon, and possibly even a series of killings that could be committed by Harvey Dent

You all know what "Dark Victory" would mean though, right?
