Lord of the Advice: The Two boners.
I'm not complaining. So this is the gay relationship advice thread now?
Sure. Why not? It's not like she's property. All is fair in love and war after all. In reality she's always choosing because you honestly can't know what her options are.Question: If there was a girl you like, but she has like 4 other guys trying to pursue her, would you waste your time, knowing that there might be a chance that you won't be the one she chooses?
No.
1. I have healthy self esteem.
2. If that was girl was that flighty to begin with, it's no big loss.
No, not at all. I'm rejected all the time without even realizing it. You don't lose anything by being rejected, not even necessarily the chance at that changing, as long as that person isn't dead and you're not a necrophiliac. Twelve no's and a yes, still a yes. Then the other side is if she does reject you and that's it then you're basically where you're at now. Insecure people often confuse failure with like losing points in a video game. Sonic loses his rings, now at zero and if one more monkey turds on him he dies. So in economic terms trying is a good gamble. So you have nothing to worry about. If you lose you lose nothing. Things remain relatively the same. If not then you "get" a girl and the other four guys likely just start pursuing other chicks. So, like I say, I don't see what their is to worry about. She could even go with one of those four then decide not and go with you just because you showed interest before. So again, just seems like no biggie to me.lol Good answer, Prime. But still, wouldn't you still be kind of worried/sad that you won't be the guy she wants to be with, even though she claims she likes you, but she's just undecided.
I see with what you're saying. However, about that last statement you made. Would you personally say yes if she did do that? So she chose the other guy over you, but then ultimately decide to come back to you. Would you say yes, even though it'll seem like you're the second option or "rebound/back-up" guy?No, not at all. Well the key thing would be that she ended it, that means she realized he wasn't the right guy. Dating is ultimately interviewing for a job, people will get interviewed because they look good on paper, but they won't always be suitable for the job so more interviews with other candidates may be required
You're typically someone's sloppy seconds whether you know the guy or not. I'm not looking for virgins, sexually inactive people AND it's not like I'm any different. So yeah I'd probably say yes.I see with what you're saying. However, about that last statement you made. Would you personally say yes if she did do that? Well, let's face it, every girl's first choice IS Johnny Depp. You're typically someone's sloppy seconds whether you know the guy or not. I'm not looking for virgins, sexually inactive people AND it's not like I'm any different. So yeah I'd probably say yes.
