Kevin Smith is a god, hehe.

My favorite would have to be The Two Towers. And my favorite moment is when Gandalf and Pippin are talking after the city gets invaded and they Pippin says that he "didn't think it would end this way." I think that is the best scene. For me at least.

Whoa! go to hell as far as I am concerned! Kevin Smith is gold

When did I hate on Kevin Smith's actual work? I merely said his opinion is worthless... You do realize this is the same man, who posted how Bendis sucks on his board, then later apologized admitting he was jealous of how good his Daredevil Run has been compare to his... Come on, you're telling me that his opinion actually matters? **** that, the guy's worst than harry when it comes to these things which is ironically why his movies are so funny in relation to pop-culture.

P.S. If you search my posts, somewhere in my many posts you'll find posts defending Jersey Girl and how I like KS movies... But doesn't change the fact his opinion is worthless.

You're opinion is worthless... although you no doubt think otherwise.

My opinion isn't worthless, you know why? Because most of my posts have reasons behind them, they give the impression that I put some thought into it before blindly posting, there usually backed by some knowledge that I can offer with the idea that someone else is doing the same, so that it's an enlightening experience, but if you think my opinion is worthless, then that's your prerogative, I'm sure there are those who'd disagree, and then those who would agree.

I love all of them....I just see them as just one movie

Me too... although I couldn't watch the 'whole' movie in one sitting. :D

I don't think you're opinion is totally worthless, just not as knowledgable and intelligent as you seem to think.

Why because I disagreed with you :woot: I think it's funny how people make me out to be the wholly arrogant guy because I call a spade, a spade. A bunch of stupid fanboys, act like the world is over because Jackson might not direct the Hobbit, when in actuallity, b4 LoTR, if someone said Jackson was directing LoTr you'd cringe :(

I wouldn't cringe... I liked his earlier stuff alot.

And yes... because you disagreed with me!!! :D

And I don't think I've ever discounted your opinion except forcefully disagreed, seriously I'm just saying give something a chance. I think Jackson's LoTR is great, but I've read the Hobbit, and it's not LoTR, it's a fun adventure, that doesn't have some grand-scheme, it just involves an uptight Hobbit learning there's more to life than just sitting around in your shire, and 12 dwarfs who need some serious help, it's a lovely story, but it's no where near the depth of LoTR, and if he goes about it the way he did with LoTR and then Kong, he'll ruin the story IMO.

fellowship of the ring is the only one I own, as I was unimpressed by the others. and actually hated the two towers, maybe becuase I like the books, and the accuracy to the book in that film was tragic.

Okay... why were we arguing?! I'm lost.

:)

Needed some vamps, huh, Cyrus? ;)

The orcs looked demon-ish to me.

Damn, I got done! :(

shhh, don't tell everyone, or I'll have to do them too:cwink: lol

Anyways, back on topic, Fellowship has much better characterisation and pace, and the whole thing is on a small personal level which works better. book wise, the third book was still small and personal, they introduced a captain who was made out to be quite important who got crushed by the trolls straight away at the black gate battle, the film was too detached and had a sucky ending.

I just love the cave stuff and the final fight of fellowship... it's hard to choose a favorite when they're all so great.

I've done it.

I watched all 3 extended editions in one sitting, excluding piss breaks and the bonus discs

14 hours.

I then watched the bonus discs. 1 week to go through them all.

Two Towers probably has most of my favorite scenes, but yeah, it's one long movie. No need to choose.

All of them work as one film.
I consider them all as one.
