The Lounge at the End of the Universe

I had just moved to a new city in a new state and my house wasn't ready to move into so I was staying at my girlfriend's and was asleep when I was woken up and told what had just happened. Watching it on a small television in her bedroom was somewhat surreal.

My dog is wagging her tail in her sleep. Must be a happy dream.

I was at work when 9/11 happened. My boss found a tv somewhere and set it up so we could watch the footage. We've had a tv on in the break room ever since.

I’m in the UK so it was lunch time when the events of 9/11 unfolded on the news.
And I was at my local gym, running on a treadmill.
My first thought was that a new movie was being discussed as nothing like this could possibly be real...

When is the proper etiquette when discussing spoilers for Netflix shows. Usually I wait almost a week to talk about it, but with Netflix shows that rule of thumb doesn't seem to apply.

I've given up on trying to figure out, lol. I took this girl home from work once. We were talking Walking Dead. She started talking about the newest episode. So I thought she was caught up, and I talked about a death in a previous season. She looked shocked, and said, "spoilers!". Apparently she was working her way backwards through the series, and never wondered about why that character wasn't around anymore.

Who does that? That makes no sense at all.

I have my moments feeling impatient and doing that.

I've never been that curious. I just figure I wouldn't understand what was going on.

I did it once with The Simpsons. Starting with the most recent season (I think it was 24 or 25) and watched them backwards. But it wasn't like a serial series or something that watching in order was important. The only noticable change was the animation steadily got worse.

I've never been that curious. I just figure I wouldn't understand what was going on.

I mostly watch action stuff, so villain, hero, blah blah... fight.

My local Krispy Kreme still won't sell ANY crullers. I dunno what their problem is, but I've reached my limits on their bull****!

If y'all see a news story in the next week or so about some local woman defacing a Krispy Kreme store, it probably wasn't me.

That's so damn weird. Crullers arent some obscure regional pastry. They should be common at Krispy Kremes nationwide. At the very least they should sell their prepackaged crullers at all their stores.

Sure. It's better all around than season one just by virtue of not spending five episodes stretching out what Batman Begins did in ten minutes (Company scion comes back after being thought lost etc.) but now the issue is after putting the viewer through that... They never even bring up his place in the company or do anything with him being this billionaire other than it's in his background. I don't want to get into any more because, ya'know... SPOILERS, but it being better than the first season doesn't mean it's great or even good in my eyes.

Strange decision there, and a bit of a waste after that build up. I'm glad it's an improvement but shame all the shows can't follow Daredevil in quality. I'm a bit behind on Netflix now, still got Luke Cage season 2 to watch as well as this.

Not sure if I should be surprised or not. Afflek is probably close behind. I wanted a DC movie universe to succeed like Marvel's. But to be honest, Wonder Woman is the only DC connected universe movie I've really liked. Not that they were all bad, and Shazam does look entertaining. It's just not enough for me to stay invested personally. At this point I'd rather they take a few years off, and try to properly restart it.

That's just me though.

So new Batman, new Superman. Hopefully they don't recast Wonder Woman next.

not another superman... for a while... now its supergirl lol... so... i dont even know the move now with aquaman... shazam... flash movie if it happens... ww2... if it were up to me id go with the joker solo with joaquin... make it R... and move into a new batman. keep it completely separate from whatever aquaman and co are going for... its honestly kind of funny at this point.
