This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]350045[/split]
Yeah, a couple of years ago my dog died and I had her for about 12 years, since I was 7, and it really hurt because she was very sick and I didn't want to lose her, but there was nothing we could do. She usually kept me company while my mom was away on the weekends, and I remember freaking out the night that we put her to sleep because I was home alone and it was completely quiet.
We ended up being given a new baby pup about a month later, and even though I had moved on and didn't want another dog, I've grown very attached to this one, especially since she is much friendlier and playful than my other dog. But the thought of having to go through this again scares me everyday.
I think that animals are better than most humans. There, I finally said it.
