That's the problem though, those are the kids that advertise that they are stoners and since they're really annoying, people associate stoners with being annoying. When really, they are a whole ****load of cool kids that smoke and keep it to themselves, but since you wouldn't know they smoke, we don't get the positive recognition.

As a straight guy, I confess I'm a little weirded out over what I've learned about my former best friend. Before a major falling out, I learned that his jokes about wanting three-ways with me and my girl were actually serious and that his actual reason was less about being with her, and more about being with me.

That situation is not homophobia.

I liken that to someone who is clearly and thoroughly friend-zoned (as a friend who had yet to come out would surely be) coming out and announcing that they've wanted you for years... that's a socially awkward situation whether the people involved are gay or straight.
