My mistake. I thought that a forum called "Superman Returns Sequels" would be about sequels to Superman Returns, not sequels to The Man of Steel.

The rumors about them and Superman always float around. Who knows what could happen if Singer has lost interest in a sequel?

I don't know, but a mid-air Zod vs. Superman fight could possibly be even more bad ass than Neo vs. Smith at the end of The Matrix Trilogy. And that's from a die hard Matrix fan.

Yeah, but they don't do emotion or wonder or basic storytelling as well as Singer. The Wachowskis would be right for Batman or X-Men, something streetwise and darker. Not Superman.

We'll see about all of that after Speed Racer comes out next year. As their first family film, it should show us a new side to the brothers...

A restart retelling the origin with the Wachowski's? I'd be on board for that SR is good, Routh is AWESOME... However Superman comes first. I just want it to continue, we waited so long.
