I found what he had to say interesting but can he pull it off game/entertainment wise? Alot of people in my region have been saying they want to play games where they don't always want to be looking down a barrel of a gun of late. Mostly peeps around his age though but all the same.

I think it's a concept that is entirely possible to pull off and one that he essentially did with "Heavy Rain." Games like "Mass Effect" and "L.A. Noire" show that there's a strong market for games that don't need to necessarily rely on action to sell. I mean, action is an integral component of those games, but if you ask people what they enjoy most in those games it usually comes down to the character interactions and the level of choices they can make.

Games like "Flower" and "Journey" where the beauty is in their simplicity will also always have a niche market to tap into. There's a definite future in that type of gaming, but I think one reason that they tend to do well is because there aren't as many of those games.
