To be fair two of those scripts were better than SR, "Man of Steel" by Alex Ford (which is exactly what should have been filmed) and "Superman" by Kevin Smith (at least until the producers made him add all that extra crap)...but the Burton and Abrams scripts were both waaaayyyyy off and really *****ty.
 
I wonder if MSJ has talked Cage into checking out the boards. :huh:

Agreed! :yay: I blame Jon Peters, dude. If someone else would have been producing this movie we would have gotten a kickass Superman film in 1998. And, after the crap known as Batman & Robin that we got in `97 it would have been a great redemption for WB.

Yeah, Abrams script was crap. As for Burton...the guy is the type of director that you can't judge based on a script. He's a visual person, so the movie would have been different than what you were reading. I mean, look at Batman Returns for example. The movie was better than the actual script.
