Senators have email accounts set up through a private server for PRECISELY that reason.

EVERYONE would be emailing "[email protected]" if that was his true email address. The United States Congress wants to avoid security risks and potential harassment from non-supporters.

I also know, because I interned for a Senator, and saw his private email address on an email which had been forwarded to everyone in the office... his email address was NOT even CLOSE to "[email protected]."

Wow! So now Kristol is Obama supporter according to them? Incredible. This is such a sad and pathetic campaign. You must REALLY have to sit there and deny ALL sense of logic in order to be a supporter of it.

Bah, no wonder President Bush never returned my emails :(. I kept sending them to "[email protected]".

You know it's over when the McCain campaign is sniping at Bill Kristol of all people:

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/10/13/nancy-v-bill-kristol/

...I always thought Kristol was a heavy republican supporter, just not as open about it as Hannity. Atleast that's the image I always got.

With so many news channels airing footage of the McCain rallies in a negative light, and reporting on Palin's troubles, you'd think he'd want to keep in good graces with the one channel that's been reliably anti-Obama in Fox. Kristol is a Fox donator or something I believe.

Either way Kristol didn't say anything that others haven't said, and the McCain camp didn't make a horrible attack, but some of those news types take snubs or brush off's personal (thin skin).

My friends join with me Wednesday night of October 15 and watch John McCain whip Obama's you know what in the final debate.

Yes.... continue to use the term whip about an old sometime racist white man winning a debate against a black looking man with a middle-eastern sounding name because he was named after his father.

Just keep on doing that.

There isn't a :whatever: large enough for this comment.

McCain doesn't get it and most people know it.

I'd venture a guess that it's not what McCain doesn't get, but what voters don't get. Polls only convey that McCain has been ineffective at demonstrating that his plan is better, even though it is.

For example, I can't find one Obama supporter who can explain to me WHY they believe that EVERYONE paying higher taxes would be better. They simply go to the talking points without considering the bigger picture (ie how increased corporate taxes are paid by EVERYONE except the corporations).

And you're fine with those news taxes and suddenly love new taxes... when it's the GOP giving them to you...

Centrist. My. Ass.

You do have a point. I'd prefer that taxes don't increase AT ALL. However, if I have to choose between having to pay higher payroll taxes, higher capital gains taxes and higher business income taxes, I'll take the measly health care tax, thank you very much. I actually enjoy being able to put food on the table...

Funny Lazur... like how everyone says taxing the health benefits will ruin employer based health system.

Debate what?

Are you going to post that email from Barack Obama again? You know, the FALSE email?
I hope thinkton realizes no one gives a flying f*** what happens in the third debate. Obama might as well bring along an iPOD to help pass the time on stage.

McCain is the only one proposing tax cuts for corporations from 35% to 25%. On the other hand, Obama has been accused of wanting to raise taxes on corporations and has never denied it, so you tell me...
Corporations? Maybe. People who work for a living? Nah.

McCain's Small-Business Bunk
July 14, 2008

He claims 23 million small-business owners would pay higher tax rates under Obama. He's wrong. The vast majority would see no change, and many would get a cut.

so wait, i proved you wrong and the best you can come up with is, "obama's been accused of something and hasn't addressed it so he's automatically guilty"? nice leap in logic there. give me some facts, dude, not biased speculation.

I think this thing will tighten to Gore/Bush margins by November 3rd.

I would laugh my ass off if Obama's Campaign ran an ad featuring all the double-digit national poll lead statistics they are carrying and then following that, a picture of McCain (or video if he actually says it in his speech) with the quote "My friends, we've got them just where we want them.", immediately followed by text and a voiceover that says John McCain endorses Barack Obama for President of the United States. :funny:

Agreed.

Really, the tone has been set for this campaign as far as the debates are concerned. McCain can come out ranting and hand Obama's ass to him and it won't matter at this point. Many thought that the first two debates were boring anyway (they felt that the Biden/Palin deal was more engaging) so it's not like they are going to sit through another borefest again.

McCain is between a rock and a hard place right now. He can't attack Obama, because it will be seen as going back on his pledge last Friday. He can't talk about the economy because it's the issue he's been losing on. He also can't NOT attack Obama because he's so far behind in the polls.
