Yeah, Coppola doesn't care about bad publicity or how how well his film will do in the box office, since he's selling winery to finance his own movie anyway.
Hasn’t Coppola had continued dealings with Victor Salva?
After that, Shia’s almost small potatoes…
That’s really messed up. Wow.
She had her piercings ripped out, had bruises all up her legs and on her neck, and I assume she had vaginal and anal trauma. And that lawyer's argument is, "She's just trying to get rich off his client." Someone needs to slap the **** out of that lawyer.
Now this is interesting…
If he did what he’s been accused of, it seems to me he wouldn’t want to Streisand Effect the whole thing by publicly firing back like this.
I have seen enough of these that, even if they did it, they are still dumb enough to pursue it.
Not a particularly impressive victory. Still, some nasty jail time for what they did convict him off. Sadly, it sounds like discrediting witnesses still works.
Looks like absolute max of 90 years for the 6 guilty charges. Even after standard cut and even serving concurrently, still looking to add a nice chunk to his current 30 years.
So did he throw a fit and yell out his innocence or did he stand there quietly?
One can't help but side eye a man when they decide to decry intimacy coordinators.
@ Sean Bean:
When did "intimacy coordinators" become a thing, really? Feels like the sort of title I'd expect a spoof of Hollywood to use.
When it was made blatantly clear how rapey Hollywood is, even on set. So the last 5 years.
What makes it sound like a spoof to you? Is it the stories of men sexually assaulting their costars? Is it it the potential trauma of a room of people watching you in various states of undressed, whether you're 15 or 60? Is it that 1 in every 3 women is subject to sexual and/or physical violence in their lifetime, which includes many actresses? Is it the large age gaps between many men and women costars? The general lack of care for the emotional and physical well being of actors of any and all genders?
Well, he wasn't big on consent when it came to the one ring and Frodo.
It seems like 2018 is when they started to become more industry standard, when HBO instituted that all their productions would have one, and then Netflix's Sex Education was their first production to use one. It is definitely a recent trend, and I imagine, more North American based, as I imagine a lot of European productions would scoff at it.
Yeah, that headline does not even begin to scratch what he is accused of doing. Good lord...
They get more and more disturbing with these Hollywood predator stories.
I see we’ve reached the part of the horror movie where the monsters start fighting eachother.
Mel's such a great guy now. He even testified against Harvey Wein.. oh yeah.
It only makes him the slightest bit less awful. But when you're ten tons of awful and someone takes a spoonful away, it doesn't make much difference.
He needs a serious shave. The beard is not flattering at all. Kids must run away from him, screaming.
Bill Murray Faces Avalanche Of New Accusations – Deadline
A bit of an update on Murray. So, paid $100k for it to go away. Plus some more stories about his past has come out. Based on Geena Davis' story, there are definitely some sexual harassment stories in his closet.
Why are so many of my favorite actors such creeps?
