The Mechanic: Jason Statham remake

Anyone go see this over the weekend? It looks like a simple action movie, not to unlike Faster from a few months back. I don't expect it to be great but if its got some good action scenes I might catch it at least when it rolls around to the $1.50 theater next month or so.

Anyone seen the original? Going to try and Netflix that one in the meantime myself.
