Oh hell yeah

The costumes look cheaply made.

Exactly as they should be. I love it.

Is that real? ****, that's amazing. I absolutley love it.

hey alright, no nipples. they got one right for a change.
here is the best pic i could find of the comic

This brings up an interesting question. We can see the Captain Metropolis is obviously in the movie, but didn't Dave Gibbons say he was on set for the Crimebusters meeting and Metropolis was absent? Why include the character, but not have him in this one scene?

Interesting...

Haha, looks very campy. I love it.

But who is the guy to the right of Nite-Owl? I can't remeber his name...:o

Beautiful.

Can't believe Metropolis is in the film.

These costumes look fantastic. The only thing that bothers me is how puffy Hooded Justice looks, especially his cape. It may just be the photo, I don't know.

I was thinking he looked a little fat. He looks like some guy at comic con. His cape does look like its made out of foam, but i think that is just the photo.

I want to thank not only Zach Snyder but the entire Watchmen crew for their efforts in making the movie.

That's an awesome pic.

I can forgive him looking a little fat because (I may be wrong here as I haven't read the book in a while) he was rumored to be a big wrestler dude that dissapeared around the same time as him or something like that. Back then, wrestlers weren't the ripped steroid monsters we have today, many of them were on the chunky side as well as being very strong.

PERFECT!!! ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!!

I am actually starting to believe... :woot:

Correct, strongmen weren't these ripped Mr. Universe types... they didn't exist back in 1940. Check out the strong men competitions on TV if you're ever bored and watching ESPN 3AM on a Sunday morning. They're more men-buffalo hybrids.

Am I the only one who hates this pic?

I think it's totally off the mark. This looks like a parody of the minutemen picture.it lacks the grace and romance that existed in Dave Gibbons' art.

Nite Owl was supposed to look like the Phantom- what's with adding the stupid hornes to his head?Hooded Justice isn't fat, he's supposed to be built like a bodybuilder.:cmad:

Because god forbid Nite Owl look like he has one or two owl elements to his outfit. Hooded Justice was rumored to be a circus strongman. He's wearing spandex. The build is fantastic.

These are near perfect.

Yes, God forbid when it adds nothing but stupidity to what was once cool.

That dude is fat- nothing like the build he had in the book.Period.

These are near perfect.

I beg to differ.

looks...okay. Reminds me more of a convention picture then bring memoeires of the book.

Like a "parody"? Of the costumes that were supposed to look rather cheap and cheesy? That's kind of the point.

The "horns" are such a tiny detail. Hooded Justice looks like he has the powerful build of an early 20th century strongman.

And really, if these little details are what really bothers you, you've given yourself absolutely no chance to enjoy what should by all counts be a great adaptation. I mean really, why not complain about the fact that they changed Silk Spectre's hairstyle? It's completely not faithful to the book, thus it MUST be bad, right? Despite the fact that it's a hairstyle that's perfect for the 40's, doesn't change a thing about the character, and looks great.

i was just making observations, not critiques. He looks the part.

I really like this pic. And I think it looks appropriate and faithful to the spirit of the comics. Well done Mr. Snyder.
