Moira is known to be one of the non mutant allies of the X-Men, but recently it was revealed that she's also a mutant. Oh my! Do you want her to be a mutant in the MCU? Personally no but I'd like to see her in Muir Island.

Who will be the MCU Moira MacTaggert?

I want her to be involved but I also want some human allies in residence with the X-Men.

I'd like to see either Kelly MacDonald or Laura Fraser play her.

Kelly was born for the role I think. I wonder if she’s ever worked with Giancarlo before?

Vera Farmiga

Wow, I didn't even know she was already in the MCU as another character.

Hmmm I usually find human characters in X-Men less interesting. So if she's to appear, she'd end up as 1 and done character. Moira in X-Men films felt like an afterthought.

In the XCM, Moira MacTaggert has been an X-Man twice (1962 and 1983). Funny enough, Xavier and Alex were surprised to ascertain that she hadn't aged that much in 1983, so I think that it was a hint to her hidden mutant nature. XCM mutants age slower and better than baseline humans.

We then got Moira's niece in 2000 (The Last Stand), and she was more comic book-accurate.

Frankly, I think that Vera Farmiga would be 100% perfect for the role in the MCU.

She wore an outfit/X-Uniform twice. And she helped them train at the school in 1962. She was an X-Man.
There was no X-Men in First Class and the name was only mentioned in the end.

I don't remember her wearing a X-Men outfit in Apocalypse.

She wasn't a mutant also in the movies.

In Apocalypse, Mystique officially stated that they had already thought of themselves as X-Men during their first mission (First Class). Mystique invented the name, Moira later reported that to Xavier.

Yes, she wore an armoured suit during the final fight.

How could be a X-Woman when she ain't a mutant....

There have been many X-Men who weren't mutants. Longshot, for instance.

That said, she was an "honorary" X-Man. She was wearing X-Uniforms. She did that twice.

Also, Xavier and Alex were very surprised to see she hadn't aged much in 1983...

There were flight suits in First Class.

Special suits designed to protect the wearer and absorb the g-forces. Prototypes. Moira had been given a grey one.
Whatever those suits were, didn't make them the X-Men.

They wore costumes because it was a superhero film.

Xavier trained them at the school. He trained Erik, Raven, Alex, Hank and Sean. Moira helped him, she was a CIA agent. There was the school. There was Cerebro. There was the Blackbird. There were the suits/X-Uniforms.
Mystique invented the name "X-Men" (as confirmed in Apocalypse), and that stuck with Moira.

Gee, so what? The Cerebro and the Blackbird were funded by CIA iirc. The term X-Men wasn't brought up until the end (and was only mentioned to tease the neXt movie).

But if you think that was the original X-Men just like Angel was Kenneth, go ahead with your own interpretation.

Mystique clarified that point in Apocalypse. It's canon, not interpretation.
They were 100% X-Men.
The term X-Men wasn't brought up to XAVIER until the end, but they were already X-Men.

They called themselves the X-Men? How, they were together for like a week? And Moira was working with CIA and Magneto was a tag along because he had his own agenda.

They didn't even have a X in those suits

1- No, they trained for many weeks. Hank created Cerebro in that timespan. It's not a matter of days anyway. Quality over quantity, always.

2- They were Division X, even before that. CIA or not, they then became X-Men. Moira and Erik had been part of both the teams. Magneto became an X-Man again in the bleak future of DOFP.

3- Even the 2023 future suits had no "X". That doesn't matter. They are X-Uniforms. They are X-Men. The Agents of Xavier.

I hope they cast an Irish actress for Dr. Moira MacTaggert M.D.
