Daredevil replies, "I gotta believe that Gambit is right the more I think about it. They have to have an underwater base somewhere near by. We saw the aproximate location the plane went down. I say we go there and check it out. But first thing is first. We may eventually have to head over to a warehouse I was at earlier this evening there is an airborne virus in there that will kill you in three days. Bullseye made a big mistake when he smashed a vial containing the antidote in it on a wall."

He shows his glove with the stain on it and says, "I was able to ingest some of it, and then I went and saw a friend of mine who made me the antidote using the sample on my glove and the antidote in my system. So before we go anywhere...while we have the chance...I suggest you all get immunized."

He walks over to the Med-Tech he dealt with earlier and talks with him for a moment. Daredevil comes back to the group and says, "The Med-Tech is getting the doctor right now. He'll make up a batch for all of us in the helliocarrier's lab assuming it still works. Once again from my anitbodies and this sample."

Daredevil steps away from the group and annouces, "ANYONE INTERESTED IN FINDING OCK MEET OVER HERE! NOW!!"

He walks back to the group and says, "Once everyone is immunized we are out of here. We've played defense long enough...now it's time to take the fight to them."

The Doctor approaches and says, "If you all will follow me. "

Daredevil follows the Doctor to the helliocarrier.

I never really thought of myself as a group leader, but in this case if I have to lead I will. This is just like a court case. Listen to my gut, and don't overlook other people as resources to get the job done."

Gambit thought to himself 'who made hime de boss' He took hold of Rogues hand and offered his other arm to Sue. She accepted and they walked over to the base.

While Taskmaster is watching the television sets sitting in the window, he hears moans of pain coming from the nearby train station. Curious, he walks over to investigate. He turns a corner and is shocked to find Psylocke. She's pale and blood is smeared on the surroundings.
Taskmaster isn't too concerned with her health, but he looks around the area and sees the claw marks made by Carnage. This situation suddenly seems completely wrong. It's not the way her life should end.
TM kneels down to her and removes his holographic disguise in order to reach his first-aid compartments. He quickly treats Psylocke's wounds. After he finishes, he walks away. For a moment, he stops and turns towards her.

"Your death here would defy the natural order of things."

He again turns away and continues walking.

"You're not meant to die...yet."

OOC: Sorry if it's a bit late but I've had things to do recently.

Blade turned around violently, he had heard an enourmous crash occur just south of his location. He listened in a bit closer with his hightened sense of hearing, focusing closer into the crash, he heard splashing - water. The ocean, they were obviously near the Long Island Sound.

He turned quickly around and jogged back to his slightly damaged Mustang, Jimmy once again filled the vehicle with his rendition of Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower". He backed up and did a U-turn on reverse, speeding towards the sound where Daredevil and the rest were.

"ANYONE INTERESTED IN FINDING OCK MEET OVER HERE! NOW!!"

"Oh Christ no..", he muttered under his breath.

He parked his car near the edge of the shore, keeping a distance from all of them, including the carrier. He really did'nt feel like being bothered. He stood theer motionless and looked around at the crash site. A single bent, burnt sign with the SHIELD insignia on it floated over towards his feet and idly tapped the end of his boots.

He knew exactly what had happened and knew what he had to do - commence his payback.....by himself.

Taskmaster scales the side of a ten-storey building. When he reaches the top, he perches himself and looks towards the smoke billowing from an area not too far from his current location.

(OOC: The place that the smoke is coming from is the wreckage that Blade just found. Is that okay? I'm still trying to get settled in with the events - so I'm in the same position as Taskmaster in a way)

Castle Doom was a flurry of activity. Both mechanical and human drones swarmed about... the recent expanion of Latveria through most of Eastern Europe had left Doom's workers going overtime. The nation's weapons factories, which manufactured both assault droids and vehicles as well as some aircraft... were pumping out artillery like there was no tommorow. Doom was now the absolute monarch of an immense amount of land, streching from Hungary down throughout Greece. Border patrol, reconassiance, and general crowd control were only some of the responsibilities Doom was now entrusted with...

a responsibility he reveled in with a passion.

It was actually happening. His plan was working, and although Doom never doubted it would succeed, he couldn't help but feel ecstatic over his new extension of power. The events in New York had been unfortunate, yes, but it had not stopped Victor from his ultimate goal to expand Latveria throughout Europe and eventually...

" My Lord, or forces have arrived in Athens and have been met with minimal resistance. It will take approximately 24 hours for us to solidify our position along the coastline and to set up command centers in the major cities. We have squads running crowd control throughout the countries, as you requested, using as minimal force as possible. Your agenda seems to be running smoothly, Lord."

Doom gave a slight nod. " Soldier, be on specific lookout for any so-called "super heroes" attempting to thwart my plans. I have no doubt we will be seeing either The Fantastic Four or the X-Men in the near future. They will not be a problem, but if their presence is found, you will report back to me immediately." The soldier nodded and Doom quickly dismissed him. He then sat down to ponder the next stage of his plan...

On his search for Sue, Johnny gets a call from H.E.R.B.I.E. on his ff comm.

"Sir, I have urgent news, according to my electronic sources. Doom is on the verge of expanding his nation. The data states Doom will commence expansion towards Latveria south, through Greece to the Mediterranean Sea."

"Doom, with him wanting to go bigger, you think he's maybe compensating for something? Thank you, H.E.R.B.I.E."

*He reaches Rode Island, and finds Photon, Fury, Daredevil, and Sue conversing.*

"Sis, what the hell, where have you been? I just got a call from H.E.R.B.I.E. about Doom. He's in the process of expanding Latveria, south through Greece to the Mediterranean Sea by force. With only the two of us, we definitely need all the help we can get. Doom and I fought recently and old tin head was mad because I opened a can of whoop a$$ on him. He was in New York, I made a call to all supers like you did earlier. From what H.E.R.B.I.E. said the X-men responded, we could so use their fire power. I think Photon, Fury, Daredevil should stay here since they are experienced with Doc Ock methods. What do you think sis?"

OOC: I'll just say that^ took place directly before Taskmaster climbed the building and saw the smoke.

IC: Taskmaster is awestruck at the sudden, unexpected warmth of the kiss on his cheek. Even through his mask, the feeling was quite...unpredictable. He was glad that nobody could see his facial expression.
As he watched Psylocke disappear down the street, he saw 19 different ways to kill her, but strangely, he wasn't tempted to do so. Not even slightly.

"...Interesting."

Frustrated that his own humanity had momentarily reared it's ugly head, Taskmaster shook those thoughts from his mind. The task at hand had not yet been established. TM needed to know what was going on in New York.

He shot a webline to the corner of a nearby building and climbed up.

Daredevil says, "She might not be bale to resist your charms but I heard there is a situation also brewing with Dr. doom...she might help us out though you never know. Photon will probably be up for a good challenge as well.

"You're kidding right?" Photon interjects Of course I'm in this. You're need everybody you can get if you're going up against Doom."

I suspect Iceman will be along for the ride as well. I suspect Fury isn't going to want to pass up a chance at taking Ock out for trashing the helliocarrier." He sniffs the air and says, "Logan is somewhere near by...he would be a major plus to our little strike force."

"Um. I think it will be easy to find the blademaster DD." Photon says as she also looks around.
