OOC: Just a heads up for this post, basically what Im trying to do is to raise public opinion of Doom... after the events in NYC, and by releasing to the media video footage of Latverian forces doing "good" things... the public is unaware of Doom's threats to the UN and all they see is that he's making eastern europe better, and he saved new york....
It's evening now and the families of the world have just finished dinner, huddling around their television sets for a night of mindless hypnotism courtesy of Fox, ABC, and UPN. However, if one was to flip through the channels and come across CNN or NBC they might have viewed something quite interesting, something that may actually be of real substance...
The TV sets blare with the monotone voice of a news anchor. "... again, if you're just tuning in, an update on the recent turn of events: the monarch of Latervia Lord Victor Von Doom has extended his power all throughout eastern europe, each country giving in with unconditional surrender and meeting Doom with minimal resistance. Earlier this day video footage was released to this network displaying the humanitarian efforts Latervian forces have taken in order to make the region safe and healthy.
