Anyone else love the way the Authority are being brought into the "real world"?

Have more than two issues of this actually come out?

Also shouldn't this be in the DC forum?

No despite Wildstorm being owned by DC I think due to it's original status this is appropriate.

Ony 2 so far, yup!

Isn't it an ongoing series? It's sad that the two headlining titles of Worldstorm--The Authority and Wildcats--have completely fallen by the wayside. Thankfully, Stormwatch PHD, Midnighter, and Welcome to Tranquility have picked up the slack impressively.

It's also a shame about the best thing Wildstorm did in Planetary. I don't know if it's ongoing I have it on order so i guess i'll see if it keeps coming as it's taking months to come out, that might take a few years.

Yeah, but at least Ellis and Cassaday feel strongly enough about Planetary that I know they'll eventually finish it. One day. Hopefully before I die. I don't feel the same assurance from Morrison, who's now living it up as DC God #2, or Lee, who's basically sub-contracted the Wildcats out to others before. Given that Joe Casey did some phenomenal work with the Wildcats in vol. 2 and especially v3.0, I kind of wish Lee had never had his sudden urge to resume personal control of the Wildcats. More Casey stuff would've been great and on time.

Yeah, I forgot either book even exsisted until I was filing away some of my comics and saw the two copies I owned. I'm like, Oh yeah! What the f**k ever happened to issue 3?!?

The Authority IS an ongoing series. I was talking to Christos Gage in Charlotte and he mentioned that his story that fills in the gap between Worldstorm and Morrison's run, which was ORIGINALLY supposed to be a part of the ongoing, will now be its own miniseries, so they don't have to wait for the Morrison issues to finally ship. He said that the first issue of his story is done and ready to ship, the only thing they've been waiting on is for Morrison to finish up.

Is this the one written by Grant Morrison? because if it is I've liked the three or four issues that I've read. But The Authority hasn't been good since Ellis left.
