-Where'd Hisako go? She's a decently cool character in Astonishing, but the only place I've ever seen her outside of that is in Runaways vol. 2 #2. According to that ish she survived M-Day, and went on to lead the X-Men... I think she'd be a good replacement for Sofia in New X-Men. So, mainly, does anyone know if she has been or will be active in any story arcs?

-How exactly did Iceman regain his powers? It seemed to me like he just "thought" them back. Instant M-Day retcons, anyone?

-How was the New Mutants storyline? I picked up two issues, which highlighted Elixer and Wither. How many TPBs are out, and how were they?

-Am I the only person creeped out by Xavin turning into a girl for Karolina? He's like a super transvestite. (Note: X-Men sounds like Ex-Men. That's why I make jokes about X-Man.)

He never actually lost his powers. He subconsciously contracted them due to his fear of actually losing them. Ironic that that is exactly what Polaris was hoping would happen, but never did for her,... only Bobby.

I personally loved it,.. though the art wasn't the best. And fortunately, it's all collected in one tpb I do believe.

I dont' see why. Techincally "he" doesn't have a gender. He's a shape-shifter. Of course, how do you explain female skrulls? Maybe they simply choose to look like that? I don't know. Can't really give a gender to something where it shouldn't really apply.

Here's a new question-
Astonishing X-Men, during the "Dangerous" storyarc. Agent Brand was talking with extraterrestrials, and one of them looked like a big, red Sebulba. Was this guy a Brood/Cerci? I was playing X-Men Legends II on PSP yesterday, and there are "Cerci Caverns", where the "Cerci" look like Brood. At one point, I remember them being referred to as Brood. I recall the Ult. Universe knowing of several (I think 10 or 11)alien races. The 616 universe has the:

1)Brood (same thing as Cerci? I got confused by Legends II.)
2)Skrulls
3)Karolina's race, the mphlorpodingys or whatever
4)Chitauri? Ultimates vol. 2- are these just ultimate skrulls?
5)Kree
6)Lockheed's planet inhabitants
7)Breakworld inhabitants
8)Inhumans are debatably aliens

I knew this was the Marvel Comic one, but I wasn't sure if this was the only stupid questions thread. I wanted to ask questions concerning other topics or threads, but I didn't want to bombared the Marvel one with misc questions.

I was thinking there would be a reference to this when Peter's parents came back from the dead in the 90's. I did find in Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #68, Peter is standing next to Aunt May at Ben's gravesite on the first few pages and mentions that "I was only a baby when my mother and father died..."

What's the deal with scret identies? I was reading House of M and everyone seemed to know each other. Some characters that i thought to have secret identies were pretty open about them. I understand many know Peter Parker from their extra House of M memories, but i was surprised to see that people knew Matt Murdock was Daredevil. Also Iron Fist and other members of Cage's HOuse of M gang seemed like the kind who would keep identies. They must still be secretive between heroes right

Neither Cage or Iron Fist have secret ID's. They were heros for hire. Everybody knows Matt Murdock is Daredevil. He got outed by the Tabloids. And Everybody in the Avengers knows who Spidey is as well. He stays in Avengers tower with aunt May and MJ.

Wouldn't you think Doom would have to take the suit of every now and then, to, ya know, stay fresh. Seriously, he has to get a little bit on the smelly side being in there all day.
