Apparently, some alien crippled ProfX (i forget his name).

Then the Shadow King crippled his cloned body.

Then Magneto re-crippled his micro sentinel enhanced spine.

The xmen cartoon places blame on a falling rock from the Cytorrak temple. (i think).

I've never heard the landmine one....

They gave the landmine explanation in uncanny X-men around the same time period of Fantomex's first appearance (like within six months I think) I dont know the exact issue though.

Either way like i said Marvel's given a bunch of explanations. All of which tend to be retconned and replaced with a new explanation.

I've asked this before but have never received nor come across an answer. How much stronger, faster, etc. was spidey when he had the symbiote costume?

[Stupid question] If all Clark Kent does is take off his glasses to be Superman, how come no one can recognize him? [/Stupid question]

But seriously how many TPB are going to come out of the whole House of M crossover including Decimation?

Well, there's been one for all the tie ins. Spider-Man, Fantastic Four and Iron Man are together. I think they had one for the one shots as well. And the Hulk one. The New X-Men one and Wolverine. Then just the main mini, so that's what? Seven?

Oh and the answer to that Superman one is, because nobody believes that Superman has a secret Identity.

I just caught up on the entire new series of New Avengers. Just wondering, is Carnage officially dead? Its obvious Cletus is dead, but the symbiote could probably survive, right?

Cletus probably survived, too. If the Joker's bat**** insanity can let him stay alive no matter how badly Batman or the Red Hood or Gordon's decrepit Aunt Molly beats him, Cletus' insanity can overcome a paltry thing like being torn in half and floating in space for months. :o

Although the symbiote very easilly could have burned up in re-entry.
Chances are neither Cletus or the Symbiote survived but they'll both be brought back as soon as a writer forgets what happened in NA

Yeah, I would say it was pretty forgetful. It was never touched upon after it happened.

Umm anyone?

It's unclear really. All it ever stated was that he was stronger, faster etc.
If I were to guess i'd say he was maybe twice as strong.

Hmm, well I was thinking that it was never stated, but damn near everything was/is stated somewhere. That's the beauty of ret-conning things. Anyway, I was under the impression he was well beyond twice as strong, fast etc as you put it.

I mean if Eddie Brock a normal human with perhaps peak human strength (850lbs or so) became a 11-20 ton class character. Due to the enhanced strength that the symbiote was able to give him after being attatched to Pete for so long, I would assume that Pete already being a 10 ton class character must have been far stronger with the symbiote.

Of course then again, I could be wrong, perhaps the symbiote suite was abel to amplify the strength that it, oh I don't know genetically acquired from Pete? That could explain why Eddie Brock was able to become so much stronger than Pete. So maybe you are right, maybe Pete was somewhere around twice as strong. But I thought he was able to take care of characters that were physically imposing to him before when he had the suite on.

Well this explains things a little bit more clearly.

[WIKIPEIDA=]The amount of power each of the hosts has is determined by the symbiote itself, within the ability of the symbiote to grant them. While bonded to Spider-Man, it only slightly increased his abilities, but made Eddie Brock stronger than Spider-Man. Over the years Venom's strength has seemed to increase. He has demonstrated strength ranging from slightly greater than that of Spider-Man to capable of lifting a medium tank. This range is attributed to the discretion of individual writers, and can be contradictory. Though his strength is generally depicted as being weaker than his offsprings, mainly Carnage and Toxin. There were a few times when Venom's powers were greatly increased, such as during his battle with Juggernaut, when he was mutated by the Mercurial Virus (liquid mercury made sentient).

So if Silver Surfer is in Annihilation but he is also in Planet Hulk, is he on Planet Hulk before or after Annihilation.

We don't know yet. I would think we need to wait until the stories are over to see since they are both just getting started. My guess is that his appearances in Hulk are prior to Annihilation though.

Why's that? The thought of the Surfer helping to defeat the Annihilation Wave, only to end up powerless in a cage match against the Hulk afterwards is too depressing?

Is the Squadren gonna be involved in CW, they are featured in Thunderbolts a lot.

Different Squadron. The T-bolts are supposed to tie into Civil War, though, so I imagine the Squadron Sinister would go along for the ride.

Thats the Squadren I'm talking about. Squadren Sinister. They prefer to be called the Squadren Supreme.

Actually, they prefer to be called "Supreme Power." Goodness, Mr. Fourth Wall, is that a crack I see? ;)

T-Bolts will apparently be hunting down those resisting the Superhero registration Act.

I'm talking about the Squadren in Thunderbolts dude, not Supreme Power. In the latest Thunderbolts Dr. Spectrum says they prefer to be called the Squadren Suprmeme.

No, read it again. In the latest issue of Thunderbolts Dr. Spectrum says (and I quote), "And we prefer to be called Supreme Power..."
