The new movie's musical composer, Marco Beltrami

Kevin Munroe announced at Comic Con that Marco Beltrami would be composing the music for the new movie. He said that Beltrami would finally give the Turtles a heavy and strong theme.

Beltrami has composed music for movies such as Blade 2, Hellboy, and Terminator 3.

Munroe was negative when asked if Vanilla Ice would be used in the soundtrack for the movie.

I loved his work on Hellboy. Should be good.

I think Beltrami has done some solid work in the past but nothing phenomenal or truly great.

I feel a lot of movies these days are lacking truly high quality or great scores that they used to in the 80's and 90's.

But I hope he can deliver for this movie.

Even though I like John DuPrez from the previous movies, I hope Beltrami will make the music memorable enough
