Will The New Mutants reach the heights of the X-Men and Fantastic Four sequels? Will if flop? Or fall somewhere inbetween?

Personally speaking, I don't see this making more than X-Men: Apocalypse, domestically and globally.

And that will be a good result for a low-budget horror movie.

I posted this on the x-men board, but this was my guess:

Between 400-$450m (similar to Kingsman, X2...)

the next trailers and tv spots will put emphasis on powers and being mutants, so that will increase the BO, imo. But if this ends doing $380m or so, I wouldnt be mad either. Fox would get the budget back, so they'll be happy.

If this cost $50 million, anything over $250 million would be fine.
