Sequels The new Spider-Man

Man, not liking any of the candidates.

I can't believe that they're still going ahead with this sh:t (musical) of ****ing out Spider-Man to anyone and everything, instead of focusing in on only producing a great Spider-Man 4 film.

I swear I wish Stan Lee could take back Spider-Man from Marvel (they seriously don't deserve him) like the creators of Superman are doing with DC Comics.

I don't really think they are right for the role of Peter Parker in the musical, but if I had to hcoose one, I'd choose the first one.

Well, it's not like the same people are working on the movies and the musical.
it's like saying that they all should stop working on the comics and the animated series and focus on the new movie.

Why does there have to be a musical anyways? Seriously, Broadway and Hollywood are pretty much the same nowadays. Washed up and all out of ideas.

The Producers, Curtains, and Avenue Q.

Perhaps it's less Broadway that's washed up and more Hollywood.

Yeah, but what I mean is Broadway is out of ideas so they're taking movies and making them song-and-dance-razzmatazz-glitzy showtune-singing musicals whereas Hollywood pretty much borrows, steals, or copies every damn thing: comics, TV shows, musicals, books, videogames, and old movies and Japanese cartoons and movies too.

Wait I thought they already casted Jim Sturgess for the musical?

Recently, though, we've been lucky enough to see an upsurge in original ideas from hollywood. Surprisingly, most of them come from the "dark comedy" genre. Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, and Superbad are all quality films.

So you all know, this is actually the 2nd Spiderman musical...

Yes I said 2nd

Based on looks and song choice, I'd go with number 10

True but look who was behind "Juno", a breath of fresh air and talent by the name of Diablo Cody who was given a chance to bring her snappy-dialogue-script to life. Same with "Superbad" and all the other Apatow films, when you get a person with originality under their belt of course there's going to be an upsurge.

Don't get me wrong I love that we're getting superhero comics and graphic novels being turned into movies or classic 60's-90's cartoon shows being turned into feature films but at the same time it's where there is a kick-ass "Batman" film or something else there'll be a remake of or a reboot of a movie that didn't need rebooting, remaking, or reimagining in the first place (I'm looking at you Michael Bay and your Platinum Dunes team).

I just don't understand why Spider-Man needs to be a musical and why they're getting Edge and Bono to write the score. They should be putting their money and energy into a fourth movie that brings back the disenchanted fans and moviegoers but also becomes a foreclosure of the trilogy itself.

I don't like these candidates. They just don't seem to fit, but atleast it's for a musical.

what happened to that guy from the movie 21? I thought he was Spider-Man?
