all o' y'all
I quite enjoyed the Marvels, agree the villain was undercooked though. But I didn't find the idea of a multiversal portal to be shoehorned in. The idea of portals being ripped into the sky was all throughout the movie, so the idea that she would get the second bangle and inadvertently rip a whole to another universe made movie sense to me. The X-men stuff was clear fanbait though, surprised they didn't put it in the early trailers (which were terrible and a big part of the movie's box office problem)
Thor 4 is in no way better than Ragnarok. Ragnarok is pure gold. I give Love and Thunder some credit, because Portman was great, and honestly I still think its one of Hemsworth's best, most emotional performances. But any movie that so completely wastes an actor like Christian Bale AND a character as good as Gorr is a major failure. They should have chosen either the Gorr or Mighty Thor stories and focused on one, not both. IMO it should've been Gorr, with Jane's story in Thor 5.
And Shinobi, man, really, no love for Iron Man, even in the first movie?? It's still in my top 10, I'll watch Iron Man 1 any day of the week. It's the godfather of this whole thing.
Why would someone watch something that they liked but then felt that it was meddled with? Why would you "happily watch" an MCU movie that you also say was ruined by Marvel? If you liked it enough to watch it again, was it really ruined?
It seems like you want to have it both ways. "I like this movie... but Kevin Feige ruined it"
I low key love the first Thor film. I don’t really know why, but I absolutely love it.I'm gonna tell you guys a secret, but don't tell anyone.
I don't really care for the solo Iron Man and Thor movies. Only care for those two when they're in the Avengers movies.![]()
Trilogy titles:Yeah cuz half of 'em ain't that young
And if it's an ongoing series they really won't be that young lol
Shockingly he's considered an improvement over the comic version.I low key love the first Thor film. I don’t really know why, but I absolutely love it.
But Iron Man…Tony Stark can sit on it and spin…I hate that character.
Man, what a waste of Pedro Pascal that movie is. Maxlord is so freaking good, and then the rest is so bizarre. Why would someone watch something that they liked but then felt that it was meddled with?
Because such films are like life. And what do we all know about life?

I'll go to bat for Pedro Pascal in WW84 any day. I thought his performance in this scene was one of the few redeeming parts of that movie.
Yeah I kinda feel like nothing was good about WW84.
It was nice to see Waldenbooks again though.
It always annoyed me how they never called the character Wonder Woman in those movies.
Walden and Borders were my happy places man.
Kids today don't know. Or read.![]()
If only people bought Nook tablets instead of Kindle!Barnes & Noble is making a comeback though! Not that big box retail chains are a great thing either but… at least it’s something.

Staying away from the Final Destination trailers to go in blind. Those are good movies to be surprised by the deaths. Not sure if this one can top the last movie, but if it even comes close, that's a damn good film.
Still a top 5 greatest twist endings ever.
