Yeah, looking at the China numbers for Thunderbolts, I think you can kiss a billion good bye for FF and Superman. I don't think they have an appetite for US superheroes at the moment.

Colin Farrell was to play the DC soldier in a feature that had Guadagnino on board to direct.

As disappointed as I am that this isn't happening (for now at least), that plot outline is a little on the nose and probably would have been changed to avoid all of the Indiana Jones comparisons.
